Raiders Get Major Injury Update on Maxx Crosby Ahead of Broncos Game

The Las Vegas Raiders, with a 2-10 record, have been a mess this season. Heads are already beginning to roll as a result of the team’s lack of success, and it appears as if a full-scale rebuild could be on the horizon. Before the Raiders make decisions on what their future looks like, though, they still have five games to get through before they can turn their attention to the offseason.

In Week 14, that will see Las Vegas square off against the 10-2 Denver Broncos, and while this game means virtually nothing for the Raiders, it means a lot for the Broncos, as they are looking to move back up to the No. 1 seed in the AFC playoff picture. As a result, Maxx Crosby‘s injury status looms large ahead of this one, and he recently received a big update on his availability for this matchup.

Maxx Crosby Expected to Play for Raiders vs. Broncos

In a season full of misery, Crosby has been one of the only bright spots for Las Vegas, which is becoming a bit of a common theme for him. In his first six seasons, Crosby has earned four Pro Bowl selections and a pair of All-Pro Second Team honors, but the Raiders have struggled to win games, even with his otherworldly production on defense.

That has held true once again in 2025. While Las Vegas has just two wins, it hasn’t been Crosby’s fault. The star defensive end has suited up for all 12 games, racking up 59 tackles, eight sacks, one interception, six pass deflections, and two fumbles forced. Crosby also has 23 tackles for a loss, which is already tied with his career-high he set back in 2023, which is widely regarded as the best season of his career.

Making Crosby’s performance even more impressive is that he’s been battling a knee injury as of late. While he hasn’t let it impact his performance, Crosby’s status for the team’s upcoming clash with the Broncos has been thrown up in the air as a result. However, it unsurprisingly sounds like Crosby will be on the field with the rest of his Las Vegas teammates on Sunday afternoon.

“Raiders DE Maxx Crosby, listed as questionable for Sunday due to a knee injury, is expected to play vs. the Broncos, per source,” Adam Schefter of ESPN reported.

There may not be much left to play for this year in Las Vegas, but Crosby is going to attack each game with his trademark relentless energy, regardless of the stakes. This game is important for Denver, so you can bet that Crosby and the rest of his squad would look to ruin their division rivals’ day by handing them a shocking upset defeat.

Considering how much the Raiders have struggled this season, that is going to be easier said than done, but they did play the Broncos tough in their first meeting this year, as they battled to a 10-7 defeat. Having Crosby on the field would help Las Vegas in its quest to pull off an upset, and while it looks like he is on track to play, it will be worth checking the Raiders’ final inactives before the game to make sure he is, in fact, suiting up for this one.
