<p id=”par-1_31″>50 Cent has been in the news a lot lately following the release of <em>Sean Combs: The Reckoning</em>, the <a href=”https://www.cheatsheet.com/news/sean-diddy-combs-team-hates-netflix-50-cent-control-documentary.html/”>Netflix docuseries he produced</a> about the disgraced Bad Boys Records founder. </p>
<p id=”par-2_49″>Diddy’s lawyers <a href=”https://www.cheatsheet.com/news/sean-diddy-combs-legal-team-threatening-netflix.html/”>tried to stop Netflix</a> from releasing the doc, but on Dec. 2, it premiered on the streaming platform. The series has become a hit, taking the No. 1 spot in several countries and getting plenty of people talking, including Jackson’s longtime nemesis, fellow rapper Ja Rule. </p>
<p id=”par-3_54″>50 Cent, whose real name is Curtis Jackson, and Ja Rule, whose real name is Jeffrey Atkins, have been feuding for so long that many people can’t even remember how it started. But now and then, a public comment or action by one of them reminds us that their beef is not over. </p>

<p id=”par-4_17″>Recently, Ja Rule gave his take on 50 Cent’s involvement in the docuseries about Diddy. </p>
<p id=”par-5_47″>Ja took to <a href=”https://x.com/jarule” target=”_blank” rel=”noreferrer noopener”>X</a>.com first and called 50 out for being a “rat.” He posted, “You rat, always have been, always will be a f****** RAT.” He later added in another post that 50 is “always telling on somebody” and labeled him an “ol dry snitch.”</p>
<p id=”par-6_76″>But the “Always On Time” artist wasn’t done there. He hopped on Instagram and shared several photos of Diddy and 50 Cent together with the caption: “Let me be clear this ain’t about Diddy he’s already in jail serving time AS HE SHOULD BE… This is about this sucker Curtis acting like he’s hip hop moral savior going on TV wit them tight ass nasty suits and that big ass jug head when you’re NO DIFFERENT… ALLEGEDLY.”</p>

<p id=”par-7_46″>50 didn’t seem bothered by Ja Rule’s posts and continued boasting on Instagram about how well the docuseries is doing. But why are these two feuding to begin with? Well, that depends on who you ask, since the rappers have different stories about that. </p>
<p id=”par-8_26″>The “In Da Club” artist detailed a version of events in his autobiography <em>From Pieces to Weight</em>. He wrote that the feud started back in 1999. </p>
<p id=”par-9_64″>“My man robbed [Ja Rule] for a chain, and then this guy named Brown came and got the chain back for Ja,” 50 wrote. “Later, Ja saw me in a club with the kid who robbed him. I went over to say, ‘What’s up?’ to Ja, and he acted like he had a problem with me. But I’m not the one who robbed him.”</p>

<p id=”par-10_55″>According to the “Holla Holla” rapper, the robbery did take place. But Ja Rule says he never saw 50 Cent with the person who took his chain. He claims that 50 Cent was upset about being snubbed by the Murder Inc. crew during a video shoot and that Murder Inc. didn’t want to sign him.</p>
<p id=”par-11_46″>The men have publicly dissed each other over the years through their music and in interviews. They even exchanged physical blows when they happened to be in the same nightclub. Their beef also resulted in a major label rivalry between G-Unit/Shady Records and Murder Inc. </p>
<p id=”par-12_21″>After seeing Ja’s recent posts, it’s clear there’s no love lost between them and their feud continues to this day. </p>
