Taylor Swift has been supportive of her soon-to-be-husband Travis Kelce and Kansas City Chiefs during the 2025 season, as she has been since they started dating in 2023. Now, following the Chiefs’ loss to the Los Angeles Chargers on Sunday, December 14, Kelce is out of the playoffs, and so the couple will have more time to plan their wedding as 2026 starts, albeit it not for a great reason.
Aside from cheering Kelce on during the season, Swift also released her 12th studio album, “The Life of a Showgirl,” which arrived on October 3. “I wanted melodies that were so infectious that you were almost angry at it and lyrics that are just as vivid, but crisp and focused and completely intentional,” she said of the album back in August on Kelce’s and his brother Jason’s “New Heights” podcast.
“I wanted to do it at the highest intensity and rapid fire,” she added about her Eras Tour at the time. “When I heard reports of people saying that they got actual amnesia after the concerts, I was like, ‘I think we did it. We nailed it.’”
Now, Swift’s docuseries about the Eras Tour has debuted on Disney+, “Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour: The End of an Era,” and she’s making history with it. Kelce is prevalent in the docuseries, too.
Taylor Swift Has an Impact on Disney
Swift’s docuseries, which features footage with Kelce, also sparked the idea of having a special Taylor Swift exhibit at Disney’s Hollywood Studios featuring costumes from her “Eras Tour.”
Disney Parks teased the exhibit on social media starting Thursday, December 11, and called it a new experience for guests.
The outfits on display, according to a report from news outlet KTLA, include the “‘Karma’ bodysuit, jacket, and boots (worn during the ‘Midnights’ era) designed by Zuhair Murad and Christian Louboutin; ‘Tortured Poets Department’ dress and boots designed by Vivienne Westwood and Christian Louboutin; and ‘Reputation’ gold snake bodysuit designed by Robert Cavalli.”
“It’s unclear how long the exhibit will be available to guests or whether it will travel to other Disney Parks,” KTLA added.
WDWNT also reports that the lines to get in have been so long that the park has had to open early. Disney “usually opens at the park’s regular opening time, currently 9 a.m. It is now unofficially opening for Early Entry at 8:30 a.m.,” they stated in a Wednesday, December 16, feature.
Taylor Swift Exhibit Expected to Remain at Disney at ‘Least Until January’
“According to Cast Members, this will continue at least until January when the holiday crowds slow down, WDWNT added in a report. “The display will be around until late January 2026.”
Swift’s “The Life of a Showgirl” is still going strong. Swift turned 36 years old on Saturday, December 13, and during her birthday weekend, the album went from No. 3 back up to No. 1 on the Billboard 200 chart. According to Luminate numbers, “The Life of a Showgirl” skyrocketed 99,300 equivalent units for the week, which is up 12% from the week before.
With the momentum building again with the Disney+ series, it doesn’t appear this album will fall out of the charts at any point soon.
