Ten Bears players sit atop Pro Bowl Games fan voting — team to be announced Tuesday

The NFL will announce Pro Bowl Games picks Tuesday at 9 a.m.

There figures to be plenty of Bears.

A whopping 10 Bears players finished atop their position group at the end of Pro Bowl fan voting, which makes up one-third of the total vote: center Drew Dalman, guard Joe Thuney, tackle Darnell Wright, running back D’Andre Swift, linebacker Tremaine Edmunds, cornerback Nahshon Wright, strong safety Jaquan Brisker, free safety Kevin Byard, punter Tory Taylor and return specialist Devin Duvernay.

This year’s Pro Bowl Games will be a flag football contest between AFC and NFC teams on Feb. 3 from the Moscone Center South Building in San Francisco.

This is the first time the Pro Bowl has been aligned with Super Bowl week. The Super Bowl will take place in Santa Clara, Calif., five days later.

The other two-thirds of the vote comes from players and coaches.

The Bears had one player voted to the Pro Bowl Games last year: cornerback Jaylon Johnson.
