TGL Season Two: Bigger, Bolder, Better Than Ever

Season two of the TGL will begin on December 28th, 2025. Ahead of its start, the league has announced a number of exciting changes. The updates aim to improve fan experience while upping the challenge for players.

Building on the success and feedback from its inaugural season, the TGL is following its mission to create a more immersive and interactive indoor golf experience. One that works for both television and in-person viewings.

Fan Focused Improvements

One of the fan upgrades includes access to the behind-the-scenes aspects of the sport. While last season focused on the competition, season two will offer more insights into player interactions.

For the first time, fans will be able to hear players, thanks to new match audio technology. Competitors will be mic’d up, and through Bluetooth-enabled devices, fans can choose which player’s perspective to follow. They’ll be able to listen in on the strategy, commentary, and yes, the trash talk, that often remains unheard.

The TGL is also expanding the stadium seating to bring fans closer to the action. Fifty new greenside seats were added to the lower bowl, giving attendees a more intimate view of the game. The goal is not only to provide a better look for fans but also to encourage greater fan participation. Jupiter Links GC’s Tom Kim explained his view on the change:

“I think the fans need to be more involved,” Kim said. “I think they were great last year. To be able to be that close to the fans is very special, when you can hear them. When we play normal tournament golf, it’s very quiet and you’re very locked in.

To further enhance the fan experience, Sofi Center added new hospitality centers. These areas focus on food, drinks, and social interaction. TMRW Sports Vice President Andrew George shared the league’s vision:

“We want people to come and hang out,” George said. “Come early. Come two hours before the match and stay after. We want to try to get as many people in this facility as we possibly can.”

Although not yet implemented, George hinted at future plans to bring fans even closer to players with receptions, Q&A sessions, and fireside chats that will deepen the league’s commitment to fan engagement.

Player Changes

Season two is designed to challenge players in new ways. The putting green has been expanded by 38% and is now surrounded by significantly larger bunkers, increasing the difficulty and forcing competitors to adjust their strategies.

The TGL confirmed the updates on Instagram, emphasizing how the changes were decided on: “We’re excited to announce the first round of enhancements for Season 2 of TGL, all based on data, analytics, and player feedback from Season 1.”

Additionally, the number of hole locations has increased from seven to twelve, offering greater variety and requiring players to think more creatively with every shot. These modifications aim to heighten competition while keeping fans on the edge of their seats.

With these fan and player-focused upgrades, season two of the TGL promises to be bigger, bolder, and more immersive than ever. From closer seating and live audio to expanded greens and strategic challenges, the league is setting a new standard for indoor golf entertainment.
