According to <a href=”https://pagesix.com/2025/12/29/celebrity-news/denise-richards-and-ex-aaron-phypers-evicted-from-la-home-over-84k-in-unpaid-rent/”>Page Six</a>, a judge signed off on a Calabasa landlord’s request to evict Aaron Phypers and Denise Richards from a property they began renting in 2020. The eviction request was granted on December 26. According to the court filing, the estranged couple owes $85,000 in back rent. Phypers has been living at the luxury home with his family since he filed for divorce over the summer. Denise Richards has a permanent restraining order against Phypers and does not live at the house.</p>

In a recent court filing, Phypers said he was in imminent danger of becoming homeless.He cited <a href=”https://www.cheatsheet.com/news/denise-richards-ex-aaron-phypers-reveals-huge-debt-while-pleading-for-spousal-support.html/”>back rent and long-defaulted bills</a> as major issues. In the filing, Phypers said he owed $125,000 in back rent. He also claimed to owe several thousand more in back utility and cell phone bills. Phypers has been fighting for $150,000 in a lump sum from a marital account. He is also seeking $100,000 per month in spousal support. He claims to have no income.</p>

According to Page Six, Richards vacated the house more than two years ago. At the time, she reportedly left Phypers’ family in the residence for a “temporary” stay. That temporary stay has stretched on, and it appears Phypers moved into the property upon filing for divorce.</p>
<p id=”par-5_55″>In court filings, Richards claims she informed Phypers that he would be solely responsible for the rent on the home starting in January 2025. Richards and Phypers filed for divorce in July after a particularly brutal argument. The marriage appears to have been failing for some time. Since then, Richards has been renting other properties.</p>
