For the first time since the 2021 NFL season, the New England Patriots are back in the playoffs.
Mike Vrabel has been able to bring out the best of his team in his first season at the helm of the team, where he won 3 Super Bowls.
The Patriots have the fifth-best scoring offense in the league and appear to be gaining their stride before the start of the playoffs.
With the season entering the final week, one member of the New England squad received a major prediction from an ESPN analyst.
Bold Prediction On Patriots Rookie

While Drake Maye is lighting up the league and playing like an MVP frontrunner, the Patriots’ run game is having a quietly good year, rushing for almost 2,000 yards.
The lead back in the position group is a second-round selection in the 2025 NFL Draft, TreVeyon Henderson, who has over 1,000 scrimmage yards and 8 total touchdowns.
Henderson has taken the lead-back role, appearing to be one of the better offensive players drafted and a steal even in the second-round.
ESPN’s Ben Solak predicts the Patriots’ rookie will be named to the NFL’s first-team All-Rookie team this season.
“On a down-to-down basis, Henderson has not been as consistent as several other rookie backs this season. He misses lanes as a runner, and despite his reputation as an elite pass protector, he has some errors in that capacity,” Solak wrote.
“With that said, the way he creates yardage with the ball in his hands is simply impossible to ignore. Henderson is a walking home run in both the handoff and checkdown game, and that profile of missed tackles and hidden yardage created tends to expand a player’s role over his career. For the peaks, Henderson gets my nod.”
Henderson was RB2 in the first few weeks of the season before getting his first big opportunity in Week 8, when he ran for 75 yards. The rookie has been able to rush for 858 rushing yards and could finish with over 900.
Henderson was the only Pats rookie in Solak’s All-Rookie list.
TreVeyon Henderson Dealing With Injury

The former Ohio State Buckeye will be a key part of the Patriots’ offense in the playoffs and cannot afford to lose him now, as he suffered a concussion a couple of weeks ago.
Henderson suffered a concussion in Week 16 and recorded a season low of 3 rushing yards. The rookie was able to clear the protocol and got back on track, rushing for 82 yards.
Due to his injury, Henderson might not be as much of a dual threat as he was earlier in the season, but he will still play a major role.
The coaching staff may use the rookie and secure their second seed for the playoffs, but they will be heavily monitoring the player for the playoffs.
