While 50 Cent went quiet on his nemesis for several months, their feud appears to have reignited over 50’s decision to executive-produce a documentary about Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs. <p id=”par-2_66″>50 Cent appeared on <em>Late Night with Stephen Colbert</em> multiple times over the years. More than once, his drama with Ja Rule came up in conversation. At one point, he revealed that he purchased <a href=”https://www.cheatsheet.com/news/50-cent-once-spent-thousands-to-troll-ja-rule-in-real-life.html/”>the first four rows </a>of seats to a Ja Rule concert to test his “showmanship.” Colbert certainly encouraged 50 Cent to tell some funny stories. Still, he did try to mend fences.</p>

<p id=”par-3_62″>During the same appearance, Colbert challenged 50 Cent to say one nice thing about his nemesis. 50 Cent thought about it for a moment before saying, “Well, he’s alive.” The fact that he was alive was the most complimentary thing that 50 Cent was willing to say about Ja Rule, and he hasn’t been feeling any more charitable in the intervening years.</p>
<h2 class=”wp-block-heading” id=”h-why-do-they-hate-each-other”>Why do they hate each other?</h2>
<p id=”par-4_72″>50 Cent and Ja Rule’s drama stretches back decades. It all began when they were both up-and-coming artists. Things started with rumors and chatter in 1999, but escalated to physical violence in an Atlanta club in 2000. In 2002, 50 Cent was stabbed by an artist associated with Ja Rule. From there, the music nemesis dropped diss tracks and openly expressed their disdain for each other. The feud flared up occasionally after.</p>

He told <a href=”https://theshaderoom.com/exclusive-ja-rule-praises-nicki-minaj-speaks-on-past-beefs-lifes-short-i-think-things-can-be-mended/”>The Shade Room</a> that he believed the longstanding feud could end and that he and 50 Cent could mend fences. The chance, however, has seemingly passed. 50 Cent’s commentary on Diddy and the release of <em>Sean Combs: The Reckoning</em> has brought the “Always on Time” rapper back into the limelight to shade 50 Cent. He called the rapper a “rat” and has suggested<a href=”https://www.cheatsheet.com/news/ja-rule-is-deeply-bothered-by-50-cents-diddy-documentary-calls-him-a-rat.html/”> he will produce his own documentary</a> to expose 50 Cent. So far, nothing has come of that threat.</p>
