What sets Korver apart is the potential for a new voice. He wouldn’t come with the same level of senior-top-seat experience as some of the older executives, but he could bring newer ideas and a more current way of looking at the team construction. That could make him one of the steadiest candidates on the board.
Fields would appeal to Chicago because he offers both experience and a modern outlook. The Bulls do not just need someone popular; they need someone who can make hard calls on the roster, choose a direction, and stay committed to it. After years of mixed signals, that kind of clarity could be the most important change of all.
