JoJo Siwa’s ex has taken aim at the pop star a year after she famously coupled up with Chris Hughes soon after meeting on Celebrity Big Brother.
The Dance Moms star, 22, and former Love Island contestant, 32, grew close after both being cast as housemates on the ITV reality series last year.
Despite first insisting their relationship was purely platonic, the pair went on to confirm they were dating not long after leaving the show.
This came after JoJo’s ex – Australian actor and content creator Kath Ebbs – announced they’d been ‘humiliated’ after being dumped at the Celebrity Big Brother wrap party.
Since then, Kath has gone on to call what unfolded between JoJo and Chris on Celebrity Big Brother – in which they would cuddle and share a bed – ‘emotional cheating’.
Although the 27-year-old has since moved on – and is now engaged to footballer Tilly Lucas-Rodd – they’ve now called out their ex publicly.
Sharing their original breakup reaction on Instagram Stories, Kath shared: ‘Happy one year anniversary to her x.’
Kath then posted a snap kissing Tilly, adding: ‘Sending hate to your cheating ex day.’
However, they weren’t done there, sharing a third post calling out trolls who had been targeting them and declaring: ‘And to all those moles on the internet that trolled me for getting literally cheated on. Therapy bills getting mailed to you losers xx.’
After flying from Australia to London to attend the Celebrity Big Brother wrap party, Kath was seen leaving alone and the next day revealed JoJo had dumped them.
‘I don’t even know where to begin. I’m filming this in a complete state of shock, which I know is probably distressing and giving, “Go have a sleep”.
‘But I feel so numbed out right now and so disorientated that I feel like the only thing I have to do to place this situation is to finally address it after two weeks of sitting back watching certain things unfold and not being able to get any clarity from the person that it involved.
‘It seems to me I have experienced a version of [love bombing]. Being told I’m the love of someone’s life, being asked to marry them before this social experiment.
They went on: ‘Being adored throughout behind closed doors. Being hurt by what I saw but wanting to work through it and have a conversation and get clarity. To be met with, yeah, being further humiliated in a weird way. That’s more of a feeling; I don’t know if it’s fact.
While Kath said they’d flown to the UK to ‘show up and support’ JoJo, as well as to ‘address my hurt feelings and work through them’, the pop star dumped them.
After Kath made the claims of ‘emotional cheating’, JoJo claimed it was said ‘out of anger and frustration’ and said it was ‘not true’.
‘I think that was very uncool of them and I was very honest with them about that. There’re a hundred reasons why my breakup happened and I’ve talked those through with my ex and I’ve talked those through with the people in my life,’ they told Us Weekly.
‘And so, I can confidently say I love Christopher so very much, but he had absolutely nothing to do with my breakup. There’s no muddy water there at all. Zero.’
Last month JoJo spoke to the Daily Mail and suggested she was now on good terms with her ex.
‘They’re in a thriving relationship by the looks of it, which makes me very happy. And I’m thriving in my life and very happy. I think they’ve moved on wonderfully and I know I have,’ she said.
Earlier this month JoJo and Chris celebrated their one-year anniversary, with each posting loved-up messages on social media.
‘A year ago, today we said our first hello, our first hug, our first laugh… the beginning of so many. So forever grateful to the walls of that house,’ she shared on Instagram.
‘One year since walking into the Big Brother house, one year since my smile grew in a way I didn’t know possible.
‘Today, I’m reminded of the moment that quietly changed everything. The only word to explain what happened on this day a year ago… Serendipity.’
Meanwhile Chris wrote: ‘One year ago today, I discovered your existence. The first thing I ever said to you was, “you’re very colourful”, and that colour still radiates every day! It’s flown by, feels like yesterday I got out the bb house, crazy universe.’
