A Celebrity Big Brother star rushed to hospital after an injury which left them bleeding from the head and needing brain scans.
The 31-year-old videoed themselves in the passenger seat of a car with a blood-soaked face and chest.
In their post they recalled the incident which involved them dropping their phone and ‘busting their head open’ after reaching too fast and hitting themselves on the edge of a counter.
Courtney Stodden, who featured at age 18 on Celebrity Big Brother, pleaded with their followers: ‘Don’t bend and snap… slow down.’
The 2013 contestant explained that they ‘ended up in the er getting it glued shut’.
Continuing, they wrote: ‘Nothing glamorous about moving too fast just to grab something that doesn’t matter.

‘Slow down. Your body keeps the score.’
Courtney also revealed in the comments: ‘Got a ct scan, no brain bleed I’m okay just a hard hit… reminder to slow down. Life will literally make you if you don’t.’
In the video, Courtney is teary-eyed as she explains what happened.
She dabs a blood-stained napkin on her wound, and shows an emergency vehicle driving off in front of them. Courtney said: ‘There goes the firetruck. They’re like: “We’re not dealing with you.”‘
Followers rushed to show their support. Firerose said: ‘Oh my gosh beautiful angel!! 😢🙏🏼❤️ I’m so sorry to see! Calling you now xx.’
Nanofibergoth exclaimed: ‘Queen omg no 😢 I’m so glad you’re okay.’
While shylaray commented: ‘Oh gosh babe. This is ouch!!! It’s ok to move slow. Learning this too.’
Courtney was a housemate in the 12th series of the reality TV show Celebrity Big Brother, alongside Louie Spence, Charlotte Crosby, and Dustin Diamond.
The media personality, singer and model rose to fame in 2011 at age 16 when they married The Green Mile actor Doug Hutchinson, who was 51 at the time.
Given the age of consent in California is 18, Courtney’s mother had to give legal permission so the pair could marry.
Doug and Courtney divorced in 2020, with the latter saying that looking back they felt ‘taken advantage of’.
In 2021 they came out as non-binary, and use they/them pronouns. They wrote on social media at the time: ‘They/them/theirs. I don’t Identify as she or her. I’ve never felt like I ever fit in anywhere.’
Courtney married their now-husband, film producer Jared Safier, in December 2024.
The biopic, I Was a Child Bride: The Courtney Stodden Story, came out last year and became Lifetime network’s number one film of the year. Courtney now wants to raise awareness about legal underage marriages in the US.
