After a lengthy wait, Netflix has finally added the fourth and final season of Killing Eve, completing the box set.
The hit BBC show first aired in 2018, created by Fleabag breakout Phoebe Waller-Bridge and starring Jodie Comer as psychopathic assassin Villanelle, opposite British intelligence investigator Eve (Sandra Oh).
But when they are placed into each other’s orbits, their deadly missions take an unexpected turn as they find themselves undeniably drawn to each other.
The absolute feral chemistry between the two leads over the course of four seasons (also written by Saltburn’s Emerald Fennel, Suzanne Heathcote and Lauren Neal) cultivated a devoted fanbase, as well as securing the show Bafta, Emmy, and Golden Globe awards.
Although the cat-and-mouse thriller with a comedic twist started on a high note, with season one landing a 96% Rotten Tomatoes critics’ score. The show also stars Fiona Shaw, Kim Bodnia and Owen McDonnell.

But it lost its momentum, with both fans and critics left unimpressed by the final season, with some even dubbing it ‘one of the worst TV endings’ ever.
Now you can decide for yourself, however, as Netflix has added the final batch of episodes for viewers to binge.
If anything, this is your sign to watch the show from the start, with the first season alone making it well worth the watch for many.

Jodie’s award-winning stint as the strange, chameleon-esque Villanelle is a standout for many.
Over with critics, the New Statesman declared: ‘[Jodie Comer] plays Villanelle, a gorgeous, magnetic, sociopathic serial killer, all gleeful brutality and spite, in Killing Eve, 2018’s best TV show…’
‘Addictive, entertaining and full of suspense, Killing Eve is television at its thrilling best,’ the New Zealand Herald shared.
‘Sandra Oh and Jodie Comer are both outstanding in this gleefully fun and wonderfully smart series that puts women in roles too often reserved just for men,’ Collider reflected.
‘Everyone seems to want something slightly different [from the ending]. It’s hard as the lead writer, but it’s exciting to be writing on a show that generates so much discussion,’ season four showrunner Laura said on figuring out how to tie up the widely-loved show in February 2022.
She explained to The Standard that the actors were also involved in shaping the narrative by the end.
‘We would have conversations where one of them would say: “Actually I think my character would do something a bit more like this, or wouldn’t say this word, but might say this word.” It’s [been] so nice to have those actors on hand and so willing to collaborate,’ she said.
