How to unlock secret Grogu Mode on Disneyland’s Smugglers Run ride
Fans of Wookiee Mode on the Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run at Disneyland and Disney World will want to give Grogu Mode a try once they’ve completed a few initial runs on the Star Wars flight simulator ride and need a little comic relief on their next mission.
The secret Grogu Mode debuted last week as an Easter Egg game hack on the updated Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run attraction with the Mandalorian and his Baby Yoda sidekick in Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge at Disneyland and Disney’s Hollywood Studios.

The two gunner positions can activate Grogu Mode on Smugglers Run by pressing a series of buttons in a specific order on the control panels of the Millennium Falcon cockpit.
“Grogu enters full gremlin mode — cooing, chirping and reacting throughout the mission,” according to MiceChat. “Use the Baby Yoda cheat code at your own risk.”

How do you unlock Grogu Mode?
First, you need to get all six members of your crew to agree to the Grogu Mode mission.
Nobody in any of the pilot, gunner and engineer positions can touch or press any buttons in the Falcon before activating Grogu Mode.
Step one is pretty simple: Everybody in the cockpit needs to fasten their seatbelts.

Step two involves the two gunner positions sitting in the middle seats. Underneath the video screens on each of the side panels next to the gunners are a row of four white square buttons. Each of the gunners need to press the white square button closest to the back of the cockpit.
Step three is also easy: Each gunner needs to press the round gold activation button surrounded by a green box.
If you’ve done it right, all the lights in the cockpit will turn green and you’ll fly the mission in Grogu Mode.
“You still get to hear the mission critical commands from the Mandalorian, but you get way more Grogu, plus he’ll call in more to your mini screens too,” according to Screamscape.

As an added bonus, the “Cantina Song” by Figrin D’an and the Modal Nodes plays during the Coruscant mission in Grogu Mode, according to Attractions Magazine.
First-timers who want to try Grogu Mode but are uncertain of the steps can politely ask for assistance from the Disneyland cast member who should be happy to help.
The original Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run attraction featured a Wookiee Mode (also known as Chewie Mode) that activated a version of the ride with Chewbacca roaring advice, instructions and commands in Shyriiwook, the native language of the Wookiee planet Kashyyyk.
Wookiee Mode was harder to activate than Grogu Mode with all six crew members required to press buttons in a specific sequence, according to Disney Tourist Blog.
“Grogu Mode, by contrast, is much more toned down,” according to the Disney Tourist Blog. “It’s cute and it didn’t strike me as over-the-top as Chewie Mode.”
