Among the rest of the star-studded lineup tasked with bringing “music, performances, and hope,” are Eddie Vedder, the Roots, Christina Aguilera, Jennifer Hudson, John Legend, Marc Anthony, Tems, U2’s Bono and The Edge and actress and producer Marsai Martin.
The invitation-only event begins at 11 a.m. Thursday and will be livestreamed on Obama.org, as well as on the Obama Foundation’s social media accounts.
“This grand opening ceremony will be unlike any other,” said Valerie Jarrett, CEO of the Obama Foundation. “We hope to inspire people everywhere to believe in their power to bring change home.”
