A British TV star who was best known for starring in Boon and Only Fools and Horses has died at the age of 90.
David Daker played titular character Ken Boon’s best friend Harry Crawford in ITV’s popular comedy-drama Boon.
The Wolverhampton-born actor died on April 30, however his family opted to hold off on releasing news to fans until Sunday. No cause of death has been revealed yet.
Daker’s career began as PC Owen Culshaw in more than 80 episodes of the BBC’s drama Z Cars.
Following that, he starred as Harry in Boon from 1986 to 1992, which brought in an audience of 15million over its seven seasons.
As well as Boon, Daker appeared in several sitcoms from Only Fools and Horses to Porridge, Coronation Street and Doctor Who.

The youngest of five children, Daker was born in Bilston and started acting in infant school.
Aged 13 he took to the stage again as Long John Silver in a production of Treasure Island.
However, after his parents pushed him into a career as a Draughtsman, he left after two years and had signed up to the Oxford Playhouse Theatre School.
He said: ‘I simply came home one day and announced that I was finished with a nine-to-five job’.
News of his passing was spread across Only Fools And Horses fan pages after he starred in the beloved show in 1982 as Tommy Mackay, the violent estranged husband of a woman who is dating Nicholas Lyndhurst’s character Rodney.
