Lee Andrews seems to be using a ‘desperate’ tactic in a last-ditch attempt to save his chaotic marriage to Katie Price.
The Dubai-based businessman became the former glamour model’s fourth husband in January, mere days after meeting her.
It’s been carnage ever since, to put it lightly, with several lies about Lee’s past and his career exposed, plus claims from his exes that the ‘narcissistic scammer’ love-bombed them then swindled them out of thousands of pounds.
Then, of course, came Lee’s famous disappearance, in which he ghosted Katie, 48, after leading her to believe he had been kidnapped in the UAE and held at gunpoint. Following three weeks of no contact, it emerged that he had actually been locked up in the notorious Al-Awir prison over unpaid debts – still, Lee claims he was suspected of ‘espionage’.
Despite the never-ending mayhem, Katie has stuck by her man’s side, insisting that she will ‘question’ him over his alleged wrongdoings and won’t be taken for a ‘mug’, but paying no mind to those warning her off.
In the latest turn of events, it’s been claimed that Lee is hoping to salvage the tumultuous marriage with a cunning ‘master plan’.
Since being freed from prison, Lee has remained as active as ever on social media, setting up a Cameo account to charge fans for personalised video messages and even mocking his own vanishing act.
He’s poked fun at the mysterious fresh head of hair he emerged from prison with, which sparked transplant rumours, and shared AI-generated clips of himself being bundled into a van… all of which The Sun says is to help people forget the severity of the accusations against him.
‘Lee desperately hopes that by leaning into the public backlash and laughing at himself, it’ll deflect from the gravity of everything he’s been accused of, from multiple counts of fraud and being abusive towards an ex-girlfriend to endless lies about his career and personal wealth,’ a source began.
‘He’s seen that he and Katie were being mocked relentlessly online, so he decided to take charge by looking like he’s in on the joke.’
They added that Lee is ‘desperately trying to repair his image by trying to make himself seem like this cheeky chappy who got caught up in this dark situation by accident, and now he can laugh at it’.
‘It’s scary how good at this he is, as Katie seems to have forgiven him, despite the hell he put her through – but that’s what conmen do.
‘They make you question your doubts about them by reducing everything to a joke.’
The insider insisted that the way the so-called millionaire is acting is ‘no accident’, but instead is ‘all part of a planned attempt to stay in control of the situation while appearing likeable or, at worst, a bit of an idiot’.
‘Men like Lee are incredibly good at worming their way out of the most serious situations, charming the socks off everyone and making all the terrible things they do seem like funny misunderstandings.
‘The scary thing is, not only has Katie seemed to lap up his lies again, but some members of the public are also eating it up too.’
Katie said in her first interview after Lee’s arrest that she’d be ‘done’ with the marriage if, when questioned by her, he didn’t give ‘the right answers’.
The reality star has even met up with Lee’s ex, fitness coach Dina Taji, to hear ‘evidence’ of his actions during the three-year relationship, a meeting she said ‘opened [her] eyes’.
However, despite the PT’s warning after Lee allegedly stole from her and attempted to take out a £200,000 mortgage in her name, plus fellow ex-girlfriend Alana Percival speaking out numerous times about Lee’s lies, Katie has not yet walked away.
She returned to Dubai just this week, in fact, where she and Lee appeared as lovey-dovey as ever in their Instagram videos and pics. They even splashed out on a £2,000 dog together.
And now that she’s back in the UK (with her family and children, whom Lee still has not met), he’s continued posting declarations of love for her.
‘Love always @katieprice’, he captioned a screenshot of a FaceTime call mere hours ago this Sunday.
The Sun’s insider has even said that, ‘within hours of being reunited’ when he was freed, Lee had ‘worked his magic on Katie’, continuing to deny any allegations and even declaring that he’ll do a lie detector on live TV to set the record straight.
‘He has done this time and time again with other women and knows exactly what he was doing. He had days to plan this while he was “missing” and then in prison, working out exactly how he was going to settle Katie’s doubts.’
So, whatever scheme he is allegedly using to keep her sweet, it looks like it’s working.

Everything Lee Andrews has been accused of since marrying Katie Price
Misleading claims of being a multi-millionaire business owner
When Katie named Lee as her new partner, he was selling himself as the CEO of Aura Group Future Urban Travel 2027 and an ‘investor in SpaceX Hybrid Fitness’.
His profile, which had 111k followers, was littered with photos of the entrepreneur in the gym and enjoying the high life in Dubai – also appearing to rub shoulders with Elon Musk and Kim Kardashian.
However, it was all later exposed as a farce – with no information about his company on its website, and his snaps with celebrities appearing to also be AI-generated.
Being banned from leaving Dubai
After meeting and marrying her new husband in Dubai, it came time for Katie to fly home to the UK – however her husband was unable to join her.
This was due to the fact that he’d allegedly served time in Dubai’s Al Awir central prison for suspected fraud, for allegedly taking out a £200,000 mortgage in his ex-girlfriend’s name without her knowledge.
The UAW bans people facing criminal investigations from leaving the country, however Lee denied he was unable to return to the UK and said there must be some ‘wrong details’.
However, Katie later confirmed he was subjected to a ban, but didn’t clarify why.
Teasing a fake pregnancy
Just a few weeks into their relationship, both Katie and Lee teased they were expecting a baby. After Katie declared she was ‘having his child’ Lee wrote they were a ‘perfect couple soon to be triple’.
At one point, the mum of five even urged her followers to pay £2.99 to find out the results of a pregnancy test.
Despite the attempts to generate publicity, she then confirmed she was not pregnant.
Scamming a string of women
Days after Katie and Lee tied the knot, two of his exes accused him of being a ‘liar, narcissist and manipulator’.
Two months later, it was then reported he’d been begging women for money weeks before he married Katie.
His ex Alana, then shared a post on Instagram calling him the ‘Tinder Swindler’ and claimed multiple women had contacted her saying he’d tried to scam them out of money too.
‘Ghosting’ his wife
After Lee failed to return to the UK last week, Katie revealed she had concerns he’d been kidnapped and then reported him as a missing person.
However, it was then reported that Lee had actually ‘ghosted’ his wife and was ‘squatting in a slightly run-down villa’ in Dubai and using a burner phone.
The Sun claimed he was ‘frantically planning a route out of this ginormous hole he appears to have buried himself in’.
