Katie Price’s relationship with husband Lee Andrews has been a huge rollercoaster but she’s apparently still got eyes for Gareth Gates.
Not too long ago, she admitted her family calls the singer the ‘one who got away’ and it seems the former glamour model might feel the same.
While on Hits Radio’s Breakfast Show today, Katie revealed the one thing that had surprised her in her documentary was Gareth’s participation.
In 2002, the then 24-year-old Katie was newly single and took the Pop Idol singer’s virginity while pregnant with her first child, Harvey.
Gareth, then 17, denied the encounter and for several years believed Katie had sold the story for publicity.
Despite avoiding the topic for years, the singer, who is now 41, agreed to be interviewed for Katie’s new Sky documentary, Nothing To Hide.
She told Hits Radio presenters Fleur East, Will Best and James Barr that his appearance in the docuseries surprised her the most.
‘Imagine you was with someone 25 years ago and then suddenly they ghost you and you don’t really know why,’ she began. ‘And now I know why.’
Katie, 48, continued: ‘People in his head and he thought I’d set something up when I actually hadn’t. Then 25 years later, he finds out it was nothing to do with me and you see his reaction.’
Hinting the chemistry might still be there, she added: ‘Put it this way, if I was his girlfriend, watching what he said, I wouldn’t be happy. Am I right or wrong? And he still looks fit I must say…’
Gareth’s girlfriend is Allana Taylor, a West End star, who he met while working together on a pantomime and began dating in 2023.
The pair posted some loved-up snaps at Mighty Hoopla Festival a few weeks back, with Gareth wearing red trousers to match her cowboy boots and not much else.
At the launch event for the series, the Mucky Mansion star shared: ‘The shock on his face and the shock on mine. Everyone was like, “You and Gareth, that was the one that got away!”‘
Katie’s current man is the mystery that is Lee Andrews, who was recently freed after a stint in a Dubai jail.
Apparently, the ‘prison food’ he ate during the few weeks inside is making him lose his hair.

The docuseries was filmed before Lee came into the picture and sees Katie discussing ex relationships, as well as her kids speaking on the impact her lifestyle had on them.
Princess, 19, and Junior Andre, 21, broke down in tears as she said she ‘wasn’t being a mum’while discussing her devastating drug use.
The kids had to move in with their dad, Peter Andre, during the traumatic time, sharing how they had been old enough to understand she wasn’t herself at the time.
Peter declined to be featured in the documentary, but shared a statement revealing his decision to not be interviewed.
