The Odyssey premiere took place in New York earlier this week, where the film’s star-studded cast assembled with their loved ones.
This included Oscar-winning Charlize Theron, who plays Calypso in Christopher Nolan’s Trojan War epic, as well as Matt Damon, who stars as Odysseus himself.
Both actors were joined by their family members, who are rarely seen in public despite their immediate links to fame.
In Charlize’s case, she was joined by her teen daughters, Jackson, 14, and August, 12.
While Charlize opted to walk the red carpet — and pose for the photocall
— alone, she was snapped with them both on the streets of New York as they arrived at the event.
The Monster actor looked chic in a Christian Dior ivory blazer dress, complete with a plunging neckline and statement bow.
The 50-year-old styled her blonde bob in a wet look, and accessorised with a chunky gold choker.
As for the youngsters, they looked sophisticated in black dresses, with August opting for a pair of combat boots and knee-high socks.
Charlize adopted Jackson in 2012, and August later, in 2015.
The actor has long been vocal about her love of being a mum, telling People in 2018 that she always planned on adopting children.
‘Even when I was in relationships, I was always honest with my partners, that adoption was how my family would look one day.
‘This was definitely not a second option for me. It was always my first.’
Meanwhile, Matt Damon’s wife, Luciana, and their 20-year-old daughter Isabella were the actor’s plus ones for the event.
Both are also rarely seen in public, making their appearance a nice surprise for fans.
Unlike Jackson and August, Luciana and Isabella posed for snaps on the red carpet with Matt.
The actor went for a smart vibe in a blue suit, white shirt and a polka dot tie. Luciana stunned in a white bridal-style slip dress, as Isabella sported a monochrome floral dress with a lace neckline and black strappy heels.
Alongside Isabella, Matt and Luciana share three other daughters, Alexia, 27, Gia, 17, and Stella, 15.
Matt adopted Alexia after he married Luciana in 2005. Alexia’s father is her mother’s ex-husband, Arbello Barroso.
Alongside these wholesome family snaps, plenty of other cast members rocked up to the event to celebrate the much-anticipated release.
Zendaya
Zendaya is well-known for method-dressing when promoting her movies.
The Euphoria star looked angelic in a white Matières Fécale gown complete with feathery angel wings.
Her longtime stylist and friend Law Roach revealed that the look was two years in the making, and that the pair had picked out the dress years in advance.
The 29-year-old, who recently confirmed she’d married her partner Tom Holland (who also stars in the film), accessorised with over 30 carats worth of Chopard jewellery.
She also swapped her new chic bob for a long, messy, fishtail plait.

Speaking of Tom, the 30-year-old was also in attendance at the star-studded premiere.
Tom — who recently joked he had been humbled by World Cup star Erling Haaland after the footballer ghosted his Instagram DM — looked dapper in a black suit and plain tee.
While he didn’t stop to pose for a couple shot with Zendaya (the pair are notorious for keeping their relationship private), he did stand for a group shot with the rest of the cast.
Elliot Page
Elliot Page also made a rare appearance at the premiere with his girlfriend Julia Shiplett.
The pair looked loved up as they posed arm in arm on the red carpet, with Elliot wearing an oversized navy suit and striped shirt, as Julia donned a chocolate-brown floor-length gown.
The pair have been dating for just over a year, after going public with their romance in June 2025.
Elliot recently made headlines when he took to Instagram to share his rippling six-pack, after revealing he’s become completely ‘hooked’ on boxing.
Anne Hathaway
Pregnant Anne Hathaway looked ethereal in a halter chain dress with a flowing pleated cream shirt.
Anne styled her brunette locks in an updo and went for a natural makeup look.
The 43-year-old announced she was expecting her third child with husband Adam Shulman in a heartwarming social media post in June.
The couple married in 2012 and are parents to two sons, Jonathan (born in 2016) and Jack (born in 2019).
