Yes, the chances are that while you’ve been out and about enjoying the sunshine, your poor couch has likely been abandoned.
So this weekend, why not cancel your plans and get reacquainted with your favourite spot on the settee?
And Netflix has the perfect show to keep your gluteal region glued to a cushion.

What’s that, you ask? Well, it’s the latest series from Ganglands creator Julien Leclercq.
The show follows the adventures of the GIGN, the most advanced tactical unit France has ever assembled, as they take on terrorist threats and rescue hostages from the baddies.
Our hero is David (Tomer Sisley), a high-ranking GIGN officer who’s set to retire to a comfortable desk job.
As is so often the way, though, when you’re the hero in a cop show, his retirement plans are upended when a terror attack kills several of his colleagues.
Now Daviood must train a new recruit, Max and uncover who was behind the deadly attack.
Since its release, the show has dominated the Netflix top ten charts globally and, at the time of writing, sits at the second spot in the UK.
Not bad for a series that’s only been out for a few days.
Perhaps unsurprisingly, the series has gone down well with critics and general viewers.
Decider recommended the show, saying the show’s action scenes made up for its relatively shallow character work.
What’s On Netflix, meanwhile, gave it three stars and again praised the action and twists while criticising the characters.
On Rotten Tomatoes, meanwhile, audiences gave it glowing reviews. Olly S called it an ‘excellent’ adding they particularly enjoyed the cinematography.
Janet T was even more enthusiastic, giving it five stars and writing: ‘Thoroughly enjoyed it, a few twists and turns with characters I was invested in (largely)! Love French crime drama etc, like the Scandinavian countries they do roll out some very watchable stuff!’
On Reddit, viewers were similarly enthusiastic, with user Rare_Confidence_136 commenting, ‘Just finished it, I loved it, crazy ending that leaves it up for a season 2. Highly recommend.’
Elite Force is available to watch now on Netflix.
