Carlos Mencia lists Encino home for $6.8M amid tax-evasion allegations

An Encino estate owned by comedian Carlos Mencia is on the market for $6.75 million.
The two-story, 9,089-square-foot residence sits on a nearly half-acre lot with a pool and spa. Completed in 1992, it features eight bedrooms and eight bathrooms.
Public records show Mencia and his wife, Amy, bought the property for $4.3 million in January 2008 through a living trust for which they serve as trustees.
Prosecutors accuse the host of Comedy Central’s “Mind of Mencia” of failing to report $8.7 million in personal and corporate income from 2019 to 2024.
