Love Is Blind UK fans astounded by Jack: ‘Does he know this is being filmed?’

Love Is Blind UK is back once more to answer the question: Can you fall in love sight unseen?

The third season has landed on Netflix with a resounding bang, with eight juicy episodes (so far) to sink your teeth into, filled with love triangles, chaotic miscommunication and soul connections that seem too good to be true (or are they?).

Of course, no reality dating show is complete without a crop of eccentric characters bringing their unique personalities to the table and fuelling the twists and turns that will leave you on the edge of your seat.

This season is no different, with a few marriage hopefuls standing out among the crowd, including self-proclaimed ‘Cornish beachbum’ Jack, who has been courting pilates instructor Ciara and executive assistant Faye in the pods.

As he flirts his way through the pods, viewers have been calling him out for pulling the same moves on his two connections, which isn’t a good look for the lover boy.

In one clip shared by Netflix, we see it all laid out as plain as day as he showers both Ciara and Faye with praise over their voices. Next, he tells both ladies that they are ‘very, very, very high’ up there on his ranking.

The cavorting doesn’t end there, however, and he gives the pair a smooch on the screen separating them before declaring ‘I love you’, leading them both to giggle.

Needless to say, the almost word-for-word copy of his flirting technique has left many less than impressed, and they’re already warning the women to run as fast as they can.

And also wondering if Jack has remembered that everything he is doing is being filmed for international TV.

Elsewhere, he also has more than one slip-up from forgetting Ciara is vegan while he goes on about cheese to mistaking Faye for Fran.

‘I don’t think he knows he’s being recorded…and on Netflix…and people will see this…’ remskkii shared.

‘Omg!! Here we go again. I can already see women crying during the reunion episode over bad decisions,’ estudiosheilaalves added.

‘Does he know this is all filmed and everyone will see and hear this,’ _wabi_sabi said.

‘The way some of these women need to RUN, whew,’ Clara Amfo declared.

‘Jack isn’t ready to be on a show like this,’ MissBetts said.

‘Jack is literally telling everyone what they want to hear and they’re just eating it up… same lines and everything too,’ Jade pointed out.

‘Why is Jack telling every woman he talks to I love you?? It’s a bit annoying,’ Lola echoed.

Some have jumped to his defence, however, arguing that at the start of the pods everyone has to date 15 people (there are 15 men and 15 women) and that his larger-than-life personality is also charming.

‘He’s just a goofy soul that wears his heart on his sleeve,’ presh_jonathan said.

‘He is dating several people at the same time, that’s pretty much what the show is about,’ cris_zeballos81 reflected.

Spoilers for episodes one to eight below – tread with caution

After choosing Faye in the pods, the drama doesn’t end there, however, with Ciara confronting him on the couples’ honeymoons in Ibiza about going around claiming she had put him as her number one.

Then, when they go back to reality in London, Jack disappears for ‘a walk’ for two hours in his sliders hours before meeting the parents, leaving Faye without answers and questioning their entire relationship.

During the series, he has also been open about having ADHD, and shared how this has affected his life and how he navigates relationships.

As fans make their own choice over whether Jack has won them over, there’s plenty more to come from the new season, from seeing how the other couples fare to watching the weddings with bated breath.

Love Is Blind episodes one to right are streaming now. Episodes nine and 10 will arrive on Wednesday, August 26, and the reunion will air at 9pm on Sunday, August 30.
