Susanna Reid has been spilling the beans on her raucous holiday to Ibiza.

The Good Morning Britain host, 55, jetted to the Spanish island for a summer getaway, where she partied at O Beach and stunned the internet with her swimsuit snaps.

Susanna also capitalised on the opportunity to drum up votes for GMB at this year’s National Television Awards, as dancers at the beach club held up letters to spell ‘Vote GMB’ after it was shortlisted in the daytime category.

Taking to social media as her trip – which involved DJ sets from Fatboy Slim and Calvin Harris – came to an end, Susanna proudly declared no one is ‘too old’ for swimwear and vowed to be back in Ibiza next year.

And now, the presenter has revealed how else she lets her hair down when she goes away.

Typically, Susanna allows herself one alcoholic drink per year and is teetotal.

But when in Ibiza, she relaxed her sober lifestyle to enjoy ‘one or two’ tequila cocktails with her sons Sam, 24, Finn, 21, and Jack, 20.

Speaking to The Mirror, she shared: ‘I loved it because I’m 55 years old, and if you’re not going to go out and enjoy yourself in a swimsuit, what are you doing in Ibiza at 55?

‘It was great fun.’

‘Generally, as you know, I don’t drink. I allow myself one day when I have a drink. So I have Paloma, which is tequila and grapefruit,’ Susanna continued.

She doesn’t go completely off the rails, though.

‘So I have a drink at O Beach, but very, very steady. I don’t go mad.’

The broadcaster explained that she’ll leave the club at around 8pm and head back to the hotel, leaving her sons to hit the clubs at night.

Susanna shares her three children with her ex-husband, Dominic Cotton.

And while the rest of us can’t hit snooze fast enough on holiday, Susanna, who rises at 4am for work, still likes getting up early to exercise or walk on the beach.

Reflecting on viewers’ reactions to her Instagram content from Ibiza, she said it’s ‘nice to see people who are in the news letting their hair down’, insisting that she ‘didn’t feel out of place’ at the clubs.

‘It felt like I was appropriately attired for the environment that I was in.’

Previously, Susanna explained that she gave up drinking for the benefit of her skin.

On GMB in 2024, she was asked if she was partaking in Dry January and replied: ‘I gave up drinking because a doctor said, “You should try giving up drinking for the sake of your skin.”

‘And I think if you have a different motivator other than just, “Oh, I’d quite like to give up drinking…” If a doctor says, “It’s not good for you…”

‘It can make you look very flushed, and I was getting all sorts of breakouts as a result of drinking.’

In 2019, she also revealed that cutting down drinking helped her lose weight and ‘feel fantastic’.

And her comments about ageing aren’t just a response to social media trolls, as she truly is loving life in her fifties.

The mum-of-three, who co-parents her sons with ex-partner Dominic Cotton, told Woman & Home: ‘Women, especially in television, are completely embracing ageing gracefully, which means we’re not fighting it. We’re accepting it, welcoming it and enjoying it.

‘All the women on Good Morning Britain are looking better and better than we did. We’ve got a brilliant styling team, but it is also an attitude thing.’

She added that she ‘inhabits’ ageing, rather than trying to ‘resist’ it.

‘I have literally no fear of getting older.’
