What happened Friday at Halas Hall:
Murray out
The Vikings ruled out quarterback Kyler Murray, who was concussed in the first quarter of Sunday’s opener.
Carson Wentz will start against the Bears, while La Grange Park native J.J. McCarthy, who went 1-1 against the Bears last year, will serve as his backup.
Murray was hurt on an illegal Packers hit. Wentz went 12-for-19 for 133 yards and three touchdowns Sunday, rallying the Vikings for 29-straight points in a win. He last faced the Bears in 2022, throwing for only 99 yards.
Standout right tackle Brian O’Neill is questionable with a knee injury. Receiver Jauan Jennings, who’s missed practices for personal reasons all week, was ruled out.
Clean bill of health
The Bears don’t have a single player on the injury report for Sunday. The 10 players that either missed practice or were limited this week — including right tackle Darnell Wright — will be able to play. Tackle Ozzy Trapilo, who ruptured his patellar tendon in January, was a full participant in practice for the first time this season and has no injury designation. Still, it’d be surprising if he wasn’t inactive Sunday.

Ndamukong Suh, who used to torture the Bears as the Lions’ star defensive tackle, visited Halas Hall as an analyst for Sky Sports.
