One man was arrested and a handgun recovered in the wake of a shooting that took place near Telegraph and Durant avenues in Berkeley early Sunday morning, police said.
Police received a call shortly before 2 a.m. about a group of people involved in a fight and at least one shot fired, Berkeley police Lt. Peter Lee said.
Officers responded and arrested one man and recovered a handgun, the lieutenant said.
There were no reported injuries and police are continuing to investigate the incident, he said.
