A 17-year-old boy has died in hospital more than two weeks after being seriously injured in a crash while riding an e-bike.
Aaron McPherson was involved in a collision with a small white hatchback car in Grangemouth, Falkirk, at around 11.45pm on May 30.
The teenager was taken to hospital but died yesterday, 16 days after the incident happened in Portal Road.
Another boy, also aged 17, was arrested and charged in connection with the crash and appeared at Falkirk Sheriff Court on Tuesday.
A second man, aged 18, was also arrested but has since been released pending further enquiry.

Detective chief inspector David MacGregor said: ‘Our thoughts are with Aaron’s family and friends at this difficult time. We will continue to support them as our investigations progress.
‘I would like to reassure the public that we are doing all we can to understand the full circumstances of this incident.
‘We would like to thank the public for all their assistance with our investigation so far.’
Earlier this year, two boys, aged 16 and 17, were also killed in a crash involving an e-bike and four cars in Scotland.
In April, an 86-year-old grandad was hit and killed by an e-bike in Burnley.
