Mozart in Saratoga
The Midsummer Mozart Festival is returning to the Mountain Winery on July 14 at 6:30 p.m..
The festival was founded by a San Jose Symphony conductor and three other members of the symphony in 1974. The concert at the Mountain Winery is part of its 50th anniversary celebration at venues around the Bay Area.
Parking for the event is complimentary, and tickets are available at mountainwinery.com.
Donate blood
Congregation Beth David on 19700 Prospect Road is hosting a Red Cross blood drive on July 18, 10:30 a.m.-5:30 p.m. Those interested in donating blood can register at www.redcrossblood.org/give.html/donation-time.
Red Cross volunteers will be on site to train volunteers. Those interested in volunteering can register on Eventbrite.com. There are two shifts available, from 10:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. and from 1:45 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.
Hakone tea ceremony
Hakone Estate and Gardens is hosting a tea ceremony on Sunday, July 7, noon-2 p.m..
The event is open to the public, and attendees must register in advance for seatings at noon, 1 p.m. or 2 p.m. Tickets are available on Hakone’s Eventbrite.com page.
Hakone hosts tea ceremonies for the public on the first Sunday of the month from April through December.
