
Before the 77th Primetime Emmy Awards officially kick off at the Peacock Theater in Los Angeles, the pre-show and red carpet will commence on September 14 at 7 p.m. ET. The pre-show, “ET: Live on the Emmys Red Carpet,” will air on CBS and Paramount+ and will be hosted by Kevin Frazierâ¯and Nischelle Turner. The award show itself will begin at 8 p.m. ET.
However, ET’s pre-show won’t be the only events happening before the Emmy Awards. There will be options both on TV and online to watch celebrity interviews and gear up for the live event.
Every 2025 Emmy’s Pre-Show Program
For fans clamoring to start their Emmys night early, the cable channel E! is starting their coverage at 5 p.m. ET. “Live From E!: Countdown to the 2025 Emmys” will be hosted by actresses Bresha Webb and Melissa Peterman, as well as journalist Zanna Roberts Rassi and “Project Runway” winner Christian Siriano.
E!’s programming will continue with “Live from E!: Emmys” beginning at 6 p.m. ET and lasting until the Emmys actually begin at 8 p.m. ET. Heather McMahan and Zuri Hall will host the show.
For Emmy fans who prefer to get their pre-show coverage online, Entertainment Weekly and People will be co-hosting a red carpet pre-show. The online event begins at 6 p.m. ET, and can watch on YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, and the Roku Channel. This program will be hosted by EW’s editor-in-chief Patrick Gomez, People editor-at-large Janine Rubenstein, EW executive editor Gerrad Hall, and “Real Housewives of Salt Lake City: star Bronwyn Newport.
What To Look Out For At The 2025 Primetime Emmy Awards

There are many exciting moments that could go down at the 2025 Emmy Awards. Various TV stars will reunite with former cast members, such as “Gilmore Girls” stars Lauren Graham and Alexis Bledel will present together, 25 years after the show first aired.
Host Nate Bargatze hopes to keep acceptance speeches short, having offered to donate $100,000 to the Boys and Girls Clubs of America if winning speeches stay under 45 seconds. Bargatze’s rules state, âIf someone goes over, we take away $1,000 a second every time they go over.â
“The Late Show With Stephen Colbert” won its first Creative Arts Emmy last weekend, and tonight, the canceled late-night show could take home its first Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Talk Series. “The Late Show” is competing against Comedy Central’s “The Daily Show” and ABC’s “Jimmy Kimmel Live!”
