Bo Derek became famous in the ’70s, in part, for being beautiful, appearing in the 1979 film “10” at age 23, and playing a stunning, idolized figure. Indeed, ABC News points out that she “was cast as a perfect 10.” Now, Bo has turned 69 and is as gorgeous as ever.
The star â who’s married to actor John Corbett (Aiden from “Sex and the City”) â occasionally shows up for industry events and looks incredible.

As Bo gets older, she remains as beautiful as ever â and that’s seemingly without embracing certain cosmetic procedures.
“Bo Derek looks just as she did back in 1979, when she emerged from the water in Blake Edwards’s 10, as the fantasy woman who becomes Dudley Moore’s obsession,” The Globe and Mail wrote back in 2002. During her interview, she was “[d]ressed simply in tight jeans and a black turtleneck, she has a Barbie-doll figure â impossibly slim through the hips and quite the opposite on the top â and, yes, that beautiful face.”
At the time, she was 45, “but she doesn’t play the aging sex symbol the way other women might. She wears no makeup, at least no discernible makeup anyway. She doesn’t look nipped and tucked. There are lines around her eyes, but otherwise, she is all fresh Californian girl: dewy even. Her ash-blond hair hangs below her shoulders. She wears no jewellery. Her fingernails are short; unvarnished.”
“In fact, everything about her is unvarnished,” The Globe and Mail continued. “For someone who continues to beguile the public, she seems completely ordinary, not the bimbo-esque Bo as she has often been portrayed, but just, well, likable and unaffected.”
Bo Says Aging Is ‘Not for Sissies’
Getty“I realize how artificial it is, beauty,” Bo told CBS News in 2015. “I realize that it doesn’t last forever, that’s for damn sure.”
“But when you’re so well-known for how you look, is aging hard?” she was asked.
“Aging is really hard,” she said. “And it’s tough. Bette Davis was right; it’s not for sissies, it really isn’t.”
She added, “And there is a certain expectation. I get credit on one hand for not having had a facelift, and then on the other hand it’s, ‘Oh my God, why doesn’t she do something?’ So you’re just torn. I just have to keep busy, have other interests, and try not to think about it.”
