Aaron Rodgers Confirms Surprise Marriage: ‘It’s a Good Feeling’

Aaron Rodgers has officially tied the knot.

The new Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback confirmed he’s married during a press conference on Tuesday following his first workout with the team. When asked about the black ring he’s been seen wearing, Rodgers revealed that it is, in fact, a wedding band.

Wedding Band First Spotted at the Kentucky Derby

“I’m married,” Rodgers said, adding that he and his partner wed “a couple months” ago. He did not disclose additional details about his spouse or the ceremony.

Rodgers first sparked marriage rumors on May 2, 2025, when he attended the Kentucky Derby. Fans on social media quickly noted a dark-colored band on his left ring finger, speculating that he had quietly wed longtime partner Brittani.

The quarterback was recently seen wearing the ring in a celebratory photo after signing his Steelers contract and again during a recent golf outing with his new teammates. He also donned the band during an appearance on Joe Rogan’s podcast, “The Joe Rogan Experience.”

While Rodgers has kept the identity of his spouse mostly under wraps, many believe he married Brittani—the same woman he first mentioned publicly in December 2024 on “The Pat McAfee Show.”

From Private Romance to Married Life

During the 2024 interview, Rodgers shared a lighthearted anecdote about a delayed Christmas package for his girlfriend. When co-host A.J. Hawk joked, “Spears?” Rodgers replied, “Not Britney Spears, no, this is Brittani with an ‘i.’”

Rodgers appeared on the show again in April 2025 and offered a rare, heartfelt update. “I’m in a different phase of my life,” he said. “I’m 41 years old. I’m in a serious relationship. I have off-the-field stuff going on that requires my attention.”

Prior to his relationship with Brittani, Rodgers has been linked to several high-profile women. He was engaged to actress Shailene Woodley before their split in early 2022. He also previously dated model Mallory Edens, actress Olivia Munn, and former NASCAR driver Danica Patrick.

In the 2024 Netflix docuseries “Aaron Rodgers: Enigma,” the quarterback spoke candidly about the challenges of fame and relationships. “I definitely hated it at first — like, really despised it,” he said. “I enjoyed my private life. I enjoyed being able to go places. But from Super Bowl MVP, MVP, State Farm commercials, that got a little bit more difficult.”

Now, with a fresh NFL contract and a newly revealed marriage, Rodgers appears to be embracing this next chapter of his life.
