Remember that old rule that says gray hair ages you? Salma Hayek just tore it up. At 58, the “Frida” star is proudly flaunting her natural silver strands — and proving that age and beauty can absolutely go hand in hand.

Hayek stunned at the Balenciaga show during Paris Fashion Week, pairing her sleek outfit with peep-toe heels and Miu Miu sunglasses.

But it was her long, brunette hair dusted with silver that stole the spotlight.

While she’s still known for her iconic dark locks, Hayek has been getting candid about embracing her grays. She told her fans how she manages them without reaching for hair dye. “I do not dye my hair,” she revealed in a recent Vogue Beauty Secrets video. “I also do makeup on my hair.”

Yes, makeup. Specifically, Benefit Cosmetics’ Roller Lash Mascara — which she uses to touch up her hairline and tame stray grays.

“Sometimes [the grays] are ribbons. Or sometimes you don’t want the white. I use this [mascara] and it keeps it out of your face,” she explained while demonstrating the trick in her bathroom.

Hayek isn’t just rewriting the rules for gray hair — she’s inspiring women to rethink aging altogether.

“You have to change your makeup and beauty routine as you get older,” she said with a laugh. “What worked before might not work now. So, it’s good to be adventurous and creative and try to have fun while you do it.”

Her silver strands were visible in a soft half-up hairstyle. A few gray hair peeked through at her temples — subtle, striking, and completely confident. Hayek has long been open about aging. In 2020, she called her grays “the white hair of wisdom” on Instagram.

By 2023, she was sharing tips on how to style silver strands — no dye needed.
