Comic-Con wouldn’t be complete without its beloved animation panels, and 2025 is no different. Expect appearances from the cast and creators of “Bob’s Burgers,” “Futurama,” “The Simpsons,” “Family Guy,” “American Dad!,” and “Solar Opposites.” Celebrities include:

  • H. Jon Benjamin, Kristen Schaal, and Dan Mintz from “Bob’s Burgers”
  • Billy West, Phil LaMarr, and Lauren Tom from “Futurama”
  • Seth Green, Alex Borstein, and Jennifer Tilly from “Family Guy”
  • Wendy Schaal, Scott Grimes, and Dee Bradley Baker from “American Dad!”
  • Tiffany Haddish joins the final season panel for “Solar Opposites”

For sci-fi lovers, stars from “Star Trek: Strange New Worlds” and “Starfleet Academy” will take the stage, including Rebecca Romijn, Ethan Peck, and Holly Hunter. FX’s new series “Alien: Earth” will also host a Hall H panel with its ensemble cast.

A Comic-Con First: George Lucas Hits Hall H

One of the most buzzed-about panels at San Diego Comic-Con 2025 will bring together a powerhouse lineup of creatives: George Lucas, Guillermo del Toro, and Queen Latifah. The trio will appear in Hall H—Comic-Con’s largest venue—for a special “Sneak Peek of the Lucas Museum of Narrative Art.”

Moderated by Grammy winner Latifah, the panel will explore “the power of illustrated stories and the role of narrative art in society,” spanning everything from ancient cave drawings to comics, murals, animation, and digital media.

Lucas, a four-time Oscar nominee and co-founder of the museum, will be making his first-ever appearance at Comic-Con.

“We are beyond thrilled to welcome George Lucas to Comic-Con for the very first time,” said David Glanzer, Chief Communications and Strategy Officer of Comic-Con, to the Hollywood Reporter. “Nearly five decades ago, “Star Wars” made one of its earliest public appearances at our convention… Now, to have Mr. Lucas return—this time to debut the Lucas Museum of Narrative Art—is a true full-circle moment.”

Comic-Con takes place Thursday, July 24, 2025 – Sunday, Jul 27, 2025.
