Amy Schumer and Chris Fischer called it quits after seven years of marriage. And now, some Hollywood A-listers are showing their support for the comedian amid the ongoing divorce drama.

On December 12, the 44-year-old actress announced the news in a brief, straightforward post on Instagram.

“Blah blah blah Chris and I have made the difficult decision to end our marriage after 7 years,” Schumer wrote. “We love each other very much and will continue to focus on raising our son. We would appreciate people respecting our privacy at this time. blah blah blah not because I dropped some lbs and thought I could bag s basket and not because he’s a hot Janlmes beard award winning chef who can still pull some hot tail. Amicable and all love and respect! Family forever.”

Shortly after Schumer broke the news, celebrities jumped to the comments section of her post to send their love and support.

Actress Sharon Stone wrote, “Sending you both all the love.”

“One Tree Hill” alum Sophia Bush commented, “It’s so [expletive] hard without having it be hard for the world to see… so when the world sees I’ll just say be extra gentle with yourself. All love.”

Amy Schumer & Chris Fischer’s Divorce Is ‘Nothing Ugly’

Meanwhile, PEOPLE reported that Schumer and Fischer’s divorce is amicable.

“There’s nothing ugly. It’s a cohesive split,” a source told the outlet. “They’ve just been finalizing a few things.”

Schumer and Fischer tied the knot in 2018. They share a son, Gene, whom they welcomed in 2019.

Rumors of their separation have been making quite a buzz in recent weeks. On November 11, the actress removed all photos from her Instagram, including those with Fischer.

Then, on December 1, Schumer addressed the speculation in an Instagram post that is no longer available.

“Whatever ends up happening with me and Chris has nothing to do with weight loss or autism,” she wrote at the time. “Fingers crossed we make it through. He’s the best.”
