Anne Hathaway, 42, turned an on-set mishap into a moment of charm. While filming âThe Devil Wears Prada 2â in New York City on Wednesday, the actress took a tumble after her heel snapped, but she quickly laughed it off and carried on with grace.

Laughing Off the Fall With Style
The actress landed on her bottom, with one leg awkwardly tucked beneath her, as her wavy hair fell over her face.
But Hathaway immediately laughed, brushed herself off, and reassured the crowd, shouting, âIâm fine!â (Miranda would be so proud!)
In true Hathaway fashion, she added a playful touch by mimicking a gymnast sticking a perfect landing, turning the mishap into a lighthearted moment.
Cheeky Recovery With Crew Support
Photos captured Hathaway grinning as she leaned on a crew member, still wearing her broken shoe.
In another image, she was seen hobbling down the street with their support, a clear sign that her good humor never wavered despite the slip.

Hathaway recently reflected on her return to the world of âThe Devil Wears Pradaâ with WWD. She also confirmed she will reprise her beloved role in the upcoming âThe Princess Diaries 3.â
âI was so beautifully cared for on both of those films,â Hathaway said, recalling her early experiences as a young actress on set. âI was so guided and looked after and cared for by the communities that made both of those films in particular, each of their directors, Garry Marshall and David Frankel.â
Now, Hathaway says sheâs excited to step into a leadership role on set. âIâm so excited that now I can do that for other people, that now I have the knowledge and the experience and the confidence to take care of other people on sets in which Iâm looked at as a leader.â
‘The Devil Wears Prada 2’ Filming Heats Up in NYC
The fall comes as excitement builds for the highly anticipated sequel to the 2006 hit film. Meryl Streep was recently spotted on set, confirming her return as the formidable Runway editor-in-chief, Miranda Priestly. Emily Blunt has also been seen filming, reprising her role as Priestleyâs no-nonsense assistant, Emily Charlton.
Hathaway, who played ambitious newcomer Andy Sachs in the original film, seems just as stylish and graceful, nearly two decades later, even when her heels betray her.
