Anne Hathaway & Husband Adam Shulman Step Out Together for Rare PDA-Filled Appearance

Anne Hathaway turned her latest red carpet appearance into a rare date night with her husband, Adam Shulman, as she was honored at God’s Love We Deliver’s 2025 Golden Heart Awards in New York City. As per photos obtained by The Daily Mail, the Oscar-winning actress, 42, and her jewelry designer husband, 44, looked effortlessly in sync as Shulman sweetly helped Hathaway out of their car outside the Cathedral Church of St. John the Divine on Monday, October 20.

According to photos published by People, the actor later posed solo for photographers while her husband proudly watched nearby. See photos here. The “Devil Wears Prada” star dazzled in an elegant all-black look, wearing her hair in soft, loose waves.

She also mingled with fellow A-listers, including Gigi Hadid, designer Michael Kors, and honoree Audra McDonald, striking graceful poses for the cameras throughout the evening.

The Golden Heart Awards recognized Hathaway and McDonald, 55, for their continued dedication to God’s Love We Deliver, a New York-based organization that provides medically tailored meals to people unable to cook or shop for themselves.

Hathaway’s appearance was a professional honor and a rare public outing with Shulman, highlighting their strong and private partnership.

A Glimpse Into Hathaway’s Family Life

Just months earlier, in an interview with Vogue, Hathaway gave fans a rare look into her home life with Shulman and their two sons, Jonathan, 9, and Jack, 5.

“When I’m not working, I love hanging out with my family,” she shared. “Uno games, baking when there’s time, teaching the kids to dribble a basketball in the apartment without upsetting the neighbors.”

Actor Bradley Cooper, a close friend, also spoke to Vogue about bonding with the couple during the COVID-19 pandemic. “We started hanging out as parents, having dance parties with children in my kitchen, and I fell in love with both of them,” he said. Cooper called Hathaway and Shulman’s marriage “an emblem for that kind of commitment.”

Love, Longevity & New Beginnings

Hathaway and Shulman first met in 2008 and married in 2012 after four years of dating. In a 2013 interview with Harper’s Bazaar U.K., the “Idea of You” actress reflected, “I knew from the second I met him that he was the love of my life.” (as reported by People)

“I think he thought I was a little nuts, which I am a bit, but I’m also nice,” she added with a laugh.

On Monday, Hathaway also shared a career update on Instagram, celebrating the end of principal photography for “The Devil Wears Prada 2.” “I’m running again … but not in heels because ‘Devil Wears Prada 2’ principal photography is DONE,” she wrote.

The highly anticipated sequel — starring Meryl Streep, Emily Blunt, and Stanley Tucci — is set for release on May 1, 2026.
