Former TV presenter Anne Robinson has been seen for the first time since confirming her relationship with Queen Camilla’s ex-husband, Andrew Parker Bowles.

After months of speculation, Robinson, 79, and Parker Bowles, 84, confirmed their relationship last month with the The Weakest Link star issuing a brief statement, ‘Yes. Full stop. Mind your own business.’

Now, she has been spotted after a shopping trip in Gloucestershire appearing relaxed and in good spirits as she smiled at photographers.

Wearing blue leggings and a loose blue T-shirt, Robinson accessorised her look with a red cross-body bag and a matching red Ralph Lauren cap as she returned to her parked car on Cirencester High Street.

Her appearance marked the first time she had been spotted publicly since announcing her new relationship and the first time she had been photographed since leaving her role on Channel 4’s Countdown in 2022.

Robinson and Parker Bowles were first rumoured to be dating late last year, however, their relationship wasn’t confirmed until May.

Robinson spoke to Saga magazine after she was announced as their new agony aunt, telling them ‘yes’ she was romantically involved with the Queen’s ex-husband.

She also opened up about her decision to date in her 70s and what difficulties it came with, ‘I’d been out of the game for so long. And also I don’t drink. If you don’t drink, you’re not as reckless are you?

‘I’m a great believer in surprising yourself by taking risks. Personally and professionally. Nothing ventured, nothing gained. If the worst that can happen is you get some egg on your face, that’s not terrible is it?’

Despite being publicly single since 2007, when she and her second husband, John Penrose, divorced, Robinson said dating as an older woman has perks as ‘you’re much more selective’ about what you will and won’t put up with in terms of behaviour.

Prior to her marriage to Penrose, Robinson was married to former journalist and newspaper executive Charles Wilson until 1973.

As for Parker Bowles, before his relationship with the TV star, he was married to Queen Camilla between 1973 and 1995. During their time together, the former couple welcomed two children, Tom and Laura.

He remains close friends with his ex-wife, who a source told The Sun is ‘very supportive’ of his new relationship.

The Queen and Robinson first met in 2013.

‘Camilla is very supportive about the whole thing and found out a few weeks ago. They’ve been joking about going on a double date,’ the source said in May.

‘After all, Anne is a strong, lively, opinionated woman. If anyone can crack royal circles, it’s her.’

Despite confirming their relationship, Parker Bowles and Robinson have rarely been seen together. A source told the news outlet, it is because they ‘both wanted to keep this quiet for as long as possible’.

They continued to say it is highly unlikely the new couple will ever move in together as Robinson is ‘fiercely independent’.
