A contestant appearing on the upcoming season of The Apprentice has been ‘found with a half-naked rival in her hotel room during filming’.

The next season of the BBC business series, which is fronted by Lord Alan Sugar, is set to air in the coming months.

However, two contestants were ‘read the riot act’ after breaking the show’s strict ban on personal relationships between those competing to win the £250,000 prize.

Amber-Rose Badrudin, 24, and the unnamed man reportedly broke these rules during filming in Turkey.

It all unfolded when a member of the crew spotted the pair through a window.

‘Members of the welfare team then knocked on Amber-Rose’s door and saw the male contestant trying to hide in the bathroom to avoid being spotted,’ a source said.

‘He was half undressed and appeared to be trying to cover himself with something.

‘It’s a strict rule in their contracts with production company Naked that contestants mustn’t have relationships with each other, and most certainly shouldn’t share a room together,’ they added when speaking to The Sun.

After the cast and crew returned to London the source said Amber and the man were ‘read the riot act’ by a senior member of production staff.

‘They were reminded of the strict sex ban and physical contact clause in their contracts and how The Apprentice is a professional show,’ the source continued.

The female entrepreneur, who owns Asian convenience store Oree Mart in Croydon, South London, is said to have also written a ‘love letter’ to the male contestant.

Although she’d apparently given it to another candidate to sneak into the man’s suitcase, the note was intercepted by the crew.

Earlier this year, in July, Amber had told her followers she’d broken up with her boyfriend and business partner Michael Nguyen but didn’t reveal why.

The contract for the show states that candidates ‘shall not engage in any intimate physical contact and/ or sexual activity with any other candidate or crew member or member of the production team during the competition’.

It follows past candidates getting together on the show, while some have also gone on to get married and welcome children after appearing on the series.

The BBC has declined to comment.

Metro has contacted representatives for Amber-Rose Badrudin for comment.

The Apprentice will return to BBC in 2025.
