Ariana Grande looked completely unrecognisable in an unearthed video that showed her at age 14 belting out a Wicked song.

Ariana, 31, has been in the public eye for decades after first appearing on screen in Nickelodeon shows such as Victorious and Sam and Cat in her teenage years.

After becoming a successful pop singer the star now famously plays Glinda the Good Witch in the film adaptation of the Broadway musical, Wicked.

Weeks on from the release of the film that’s receiving a huge amount of Oscar buzz, an unearthed video has shown fans that Ariana has always been a Wicked fan.

A post from the Instagram page Voices of Gold has shown a split-screen video of Ariana singing The Wizard and I at 14 years old, and also singing in the film opposite Cynthia Erivo.

The caption read: ‘At 14 years old, @arianagrande was already dreaming of Oz, singing “The Wizard and I” like she was meant to be there. Fast forward 17 years—now 31—she’s officially Glinda in the Wicked movie, soaring through ‘Defying Gravity’ with @cynthiaerivo. Talk about a glow-up worthy of the Emerald City! 💚✨’
