Disgraced actor Armie Hammer has addressed the incident involving the use of a knife on his ex-girlfriend Paige Lorenze in a new interview with Piers Morgan.

The 37-year-old, best known for his roles in Call Me By Your Name and The Social Network, has historically been accused of rape, a cannibalism fetish and emotional and physical abuse, all of which were the subject of the 2022 documentary House of Hammer.

The Death on the Nile star has denied all allegations, and in May 2023, the sexual assault charges against Hammer were dropped after an investigation.

In a new interview with Piers Morgan, however, he did open up about one incident with his ex Paige, which the Dairy Boy founder herself spoke about in 2021.

According to the 26-year-old influencer’s account, she claimed Armie ‘marked and branded’ her by carving his initial around her vaginal area, as she told Page Six.

When asked about the alleged encounter by the GMB host, 59, he said: ‘I wouldn’t say brand, no.

‘There was a scenario that we talked about beforehand, that we had discussed where, you know, I would basically take a little, tiny point and just kind of trace the letter A – just like the tip of a small knife.’

He continued: ‘I mean, there wasn’t even blood in the situation. It was more like a scrape… It’s along the lines of couples getting their own initials tattooed on each other.’

Although Piers pointed out it was a ‘bit different’ to a tattoo, Armie defended himself by adding it was ‘less permanent. I guarantee it was such a small thing.’

The TV presenter noted his shock, to which Armie responded: ‘Yes, I think to some it probably sounds really strange. To some, it probably sounds like a very romantic gesture.’

He also spoke about the ‘bigger picture’ on Bill Maher’s Club Random podcast where he added: ‘I’m not performing surgery, you know, it’s like all of these things in a consensual relationship that were pre-discussed and all of these things that were consented to whatever they might have been between two people.’

Paige dated Armie for a few months in 2020 when she was 22. At the time he was still married to his ex-wife Elizabeth Chambers with whom he shares two children.

In Paige’s full recount of the incident to Page Six, she said: ‘I kind of sat back and let it happen. I didn’t really know what to do or say … As sad as that is, I wanted him to like me and feel like I was down for what he wanted.’

The entrepreneur added: ‘I said, “How am I supposed to see other people when I have bruises?” He said, “That’s the point.” I think it was a part of marking and branding.’

In a separate interview with Vanity Fair, she spoke about how she felt controlled during their relationship.

‘He started making rules for me of things I could and couldn’t do, who I could have over, who I couldn’t.

‘He told me that I couldn’t have anyone else in my bed. And then I just started to feel really unsafe and really sick to my stomach about things.’

She added that he was a ‘scary person’.

In a recent interview, Armie shared that he is ‘grateful’ for the social media uproar around his alleged cannibalism.

‘But here’s what I will say about it. Even in the discrepancies, in whatever it was that people said, whatever it was that happened, I’m now in a place in my life where I’m grateful for every single bit of it.’

It offered him the chance to ‘give love’ to himself and work on his self-esteem.

The actor was engaged to Marina Gris, 26 but they called their engagement off in January 2024.

In 2023, he said he was ready to ‘own my mistakes and take accountability’. ‘I’m now a healthier, happier, more balanced person,’ he added.
