Elizabeth Chambers shared a rare family photo of her two children with ex Armie Hammer.
The 42-year-old took to her Instagram story on Tuesday, June 3, to showcase her son Ford, 7, and daughter Harper, 10, alongside Hammer.
âHappy 2nd grade step-up, FORDY BOY,â Chambers wrote on the image along with a blue heart emoji.
The family got together to celebrate Ford as Chambers held a certificate, showing he is moving on to the next grade in school. Meanwhile, Ford had his hands full as he held a small doggie.
Hammer was on the end of image and was hugging his daughter Harper.
Chambers Dished on Her Family Post-Divorce
The BIRD Bakery founder spoke about her family post-divorce in a May interview on TODAY’s “Jenna & Friends.”
“They’re amazing. We’re amazing. I think we’ve never been stronger as a family,” Chambers told. “This show touches on domestic violence, it touches on really unhealthy patterns. For me, I just experienced betrayal.”
Chambers was on the show to promote her new six-part Investigation Discovery series “Toxic.” The series explores those who have suffered traumatic relationships.
“But in that process, I really learned so much about patterns and how parenting, really it comes down to parenting,” she added. “It comes down to humanity and psychology and all of those interesting things.”
While Chambers dished on parenting, she noted she doesn’t like the term “co-parenting.”
“I donât love that word co-parenting, right? I think weâre just parents and everyone is just parenting as well as they can with what they have,” she told the hosts. “Our family is, again, so strong and better than ever. But for me, divorce in itself is just trauma.”
Chambers and Hammer married in 2010. The two announced their split in July 2020 with the divorce being finalized in June 2023.
Hammer Details Parenting With Chambers
The “Call Me by Your Name” actor told Piers Morgan in July 2024 the two have come a long way since their split.
âWeâre very good co-parents,” he said in the lengthy interview on “Piers Mogan Uncensored.”
âWeâve worked through a lot of stuff together. We are able to put our children first and foremost. I would say that, in a big way, bygones are bygones,” he continued. “It was a messy, murky time and I think nobody puts their best foot forward in those times.â
Hammer took a hiatus from acting in the wake of his split and allegations that swirled at the time. He last appeared in the 2022 “Death on the Nile.” He currently has two films in post-production, “Citizen Vigilante” and “Frontier Crucible,” per iMDb.
