Austin Butler and Emily Ratajkowski are fueling dating rumors after being spotted out together in New York City. The actor and the supermodel, both 34, were photographed Friday, Sept. 5, enjoying dinner and drinks at the Waverly Inn in the West Village.

The outing marks the latest in a string of sightings. Just weeks earlier, Butler and Ratajkowski were spotted together at an afterparty for the New York City premiere of his new movie âCaught Stealing.â
At their most recent dinner in Manhattan, Butler kept his look casual in a plain white T-shirt, while Ratajkowski wore a strapless dark top. Their understated style didnât stop fans and outlets from speculating about a potential romance.
An eyewitness told celebrity blog Deux Moi that the pair looked âvery giggly and cuteâ during the evening. TMZ reported that Ratajkowski ordered a martini while Butler sipped an old-fashioned.
The spy noted there wasnât much overt PDA, but the duo appeared close as they chatted in their booth for nearly two hours. At one point, the model leaned into Butler several times, and the âElvisâ star was seen putting his arm around her shoulder.
Past Relationships and Romance Rumors
Butler was most recently linked to model Kaia Gerber, whom he dated for three years before the two split in early 2025. Prior to Gerber, he was in a long-term relationship with actress Vanessa Hudgens for nearly a decade.
The actor has also faced speculation about his chemistry with his âCaught Stealingâ co-star Zoë Kravitz. The pair were reportedly seen chatting intimately in Paris earlier this summer. While a source told the Daily Mail there was âdefinitely chemistryâ between them, insiders later told TMZ the two are simply friends. Kravitz has since been photographed with musician Harry Styles.
For Ratajkowski, the outing with Butler comes after several high-profile connections since her 2022 divorce from Sebastian Bear-McClard, with whom she shares her 4-year-old son, Sylvester. She has previously been linked to Brad Pitt, Pete Davidson, Eric André, Harry Styles, and country artist Shaboozey.
In a 2023 interview with HommeGirls, Ratajkowski described navigating single life after her marriage ended. “I’m proud of myself. Younger version of myself would have prob settled for some mid dude just to have a [boyfriend]. Glad I’m not in that era anymore,” she said.
The model also noted she is open to new relationships, adding: “I’m really open to meeting people whatever way! But I do think mutuals is always a nice way to vet people.”
