- Gino D’Acampo stirred controversy during his live cooking shows in Canada, including a risqué interaction with an audience member
- Following allegations of misconduct leading to his ITV exit, Gino has focused on international tours and his social media presence
- He has relocated abroad, sold his UK property, and continues working on new projects while maintaining his fanbase
Those who attended Gino D’Acampo’s live show in Canada this week got a shock when he got up close and personal with one audience member.
The former TV chef, 49, was axed from screens late last year due to a string of misconduct allegations, which he denied. But he’s still maintained an international fanbase.
As a result, he’s currently on tour, having fronted live cooking shows in Montreal and Toronto for adoring crowds who gave him a warm reception.
While promoting his new series, An Italian in Canada, Gino was seen sucking spaghetti out of one woman’s mouth in the theatre in a moment that left fellow audience members laughing and their own mouths agape in shock.
Gino shared a short clip of the risqué exchange in a video montage from the live shows on his Instagram feed, which included other snippets of fan interactions.
Audience members are seemingly invited up on stage throughout the show, where Gino greets them with champagne and encourages them to get involved in culinary challenges.
Although it looks like the show is laced with plenty of other crude moments, as Gino was, at one point, slapped on the shoulder by a female fan who took offence at his words.
Another involved several men getting stuck in by whisking some eggs with force, but Gino made them turn their backs to the crowd, suggesting their arms were moving in a way that looked suggestive.
Nevertheless, it appears no one left disappointed at the end, as cheers and applause raised the roof when Gino left the stage, but not before leaping off to give one woman a hug down the front and shake hands with others.
‘I love you!’, he declared to the packed venue at the end.
Alongside his social media post, Gino wrote in the caption: ‘Two fantastic live cooking shows in Montreal and Toronto… Grazie Canada, you guys rock 🤘🇨🇦… GDx’
The comments section was further filled with followers saying they had ‘so much fun’ on the night, even demanding more shows.

Gino, who shares sons Luciano, 23, and Rocco, 20, with his wife Jessica Morrison, moved out of England to start a new life abroad after his career became tarnished by accusations of impropriety.
He put his £4.2million mansion in Hertfordshire up for sale, with The Sun reporting he was looking to jet Down Under to launch ‘multiple projects’.
Gino has since remained busy with numerous filming projects and remains active on social media, where he plugs his cookbooks and shares recipes with fans.
It comes after Gino was sacked by ITV, with the network claiming to have ‘no plans’ to work with him again.
The former Family Fortunes host’s programmes were removed from the TV schedule as a result, including repeats.
An ITV News investigation was conducted into Gino’s alleged inappropriate behaviour, speaking to ‘dozens’ of people who said he made ‘unacceptable’, ‘distressing’, and ‘horrendous’ comments.
It was claimed he used both aggressive and sexualised language on sets and had outbursts at colleagues, which made them uncomfortable and fearful.
Furthermore, ITV News said it spoke to freelancers who said they were too scared to complain at the time for fear of risking future employment.
In a previous statement, ITV said production companies ‘have the primary responsibility for the duty of care of everyone they work with’.
The broadcaster said policies around standards of acceptable behaviour had been ‘strengthened’ in the last five years and that ‘action has been taken’ where ‘issues have been raised’.
In his response, Gino firmly denied any wrongdoing and claimed he had ‘never been made aware of these matters previously’.
His statement continued: ‘I am a father, husband and have worked with well over 1,500 people on around 80 productions in my career, which I have been so proud of.
‘I take such matters extremely seriously.’
He also called the allegations ‘deeply upsetting’.
