Bam Margera and Hulk Hogan

MTV star Bam Margera is recalling fun memories with the late WWE star Hulk Hogan.

TMZ caught up with the 45-year-old while he was in Los Angeles with his wife Dannii Marie on Friday. The reporter mentioned that the professional skateboarder knew both heavy metal legend Ozzy Osbourne and Hogan.

“Yeah it’s been a really rough week, especially with the Hogans,” he told the reporter. “My heart goes out to all of them because we spent the whole winter in Tampa.”

Margera told the camera he met up with Hogan while in the area, and he was using a cane. Margera recalled Hogan telling him, “Bam’s what’s up man, you are shredding again.”

Margera previously had health problems that were making it difficult for him to skateboard. His wife, Dannii, just so happens to be a stretch coach and was able to get the reality TV star back on a board.

Margera recalled Hogan saying, “That’s what I need. If you guys stay in Florida, fix my back, you can stay.”

The two ended up living with Hulk Hogan’s best friend in the Sunshine State for the majority of the winter.

Margera added Hogan’s passing is still “shocking,” and it has been difficult to focus on anything else.

He also told the outlet that the two used to have Monday karaoke nights.

Margera Previosuly Shared a Touching Social Media Post

The “Viva La Bam” star shared a sweet Instagram post that was accompanied by a series of images of the two.

“I’m crushed. Hulk was more than a hero, he was family to me and my wife. The world just lost another legend today, and I lost a true brother,” he began.

Margera continued, “It was an absolute honor to take him to see Yngwie Malmsteen, one of his biggest wishes. Not many people knew it, but he was a professional musician before he was a professional wrestler. Hulk played in bands and was an incredible studio musician…amazing base player!”

He told TMZ that both he and Hogan always wanted to see Malmsteen, a Swedish guitarist, so the two ended up going together.
