“We caught child stars Erin Murphy from ‘Bewitched’ and Barry Livingston from ‘My Three Sons’ catching up at the Hollywood Show,” the publication captioned the post.

Their Classic TV Legacies

Livingston played Ernie Douglas on “My Three Sons” from 1963 until the series ended in 1972, appearing alongside his real-life brother Stanley Livingston.

Murphy joined “Bewitched” in 1966 as Tabitha Stephens, the magical daughter of Samantha and Darrin, and remained with the show until its end in 1972.

The actors became household names as children but continued on different paths after their shows wrapped.

Murphy reflected on the 60th anniversary of “Bewitched,” noting how her perspective has changed over time. As a child, she only experienced the show from the set, but watching it now gives her a fresh appreciation. “It’s so interesting because I grew up on the show, so it’s the only childhood I know, but I feel lucky. I really do,” she said, talking to People. “People love the show. They watched it when they were kids. Their kids watch it now, their grandkids watch it.”

Life After the Sitcom Spotlight

Livingston has stayed active in Hollywood with guest roles on “The Conners,” “How I Met Your Father,” and “General Hospital.” Murphy largely stepped away from acting after “Bewitched,” but made a return in the 2010s with appearances in short films and episodes of “The Comeback Kids.”

Although the two never shared the screen during their TV heyday, they have remained close over the years. Earlier this summer, they attended a Marx Brothers exhibition at the Hollywood Museum together. Their latest reunion brought back fond memories for fans who watched them grow up on screen.
