In social media posts shared by the show’s team, the announcement confirmed that upcoming dates would be postponed while Mochrie prioritizes healing.

“We understand this news is disappointing for those who were looking forward to the performance, and we truly appreciate your understanding,” the post continued.

Organizers noted they are optimistic about his recovery and will share updates about new show dates once they are finalized.

“Colin is incredibly grateful for your support and well wishes. He looks forward to being back on stage and sharing many more laughs with all of you in the near future,” it concluded.

Detached retinas can be serious medical events requiring swift surgery to prevent vision loss, and many fans expressed relief that Mochrie received prompt care.
