Itâs a new year and a new opportunity to watch the annual Rose Parade. The 2026 Rose Parade will pass through Pasadena, California, on January 1, 2026, starting at 11 a.m. ET until 1 p.m. ET.
Audiences will be wowed by 19 marching bands, stunning and detailed rose-covered floats, and equestrian teams. It is also an excellent opportunity to spot some of the worldâs biggest celebrities, including NBA legend Magic Johnson, who has taken on the role of Grand Marshal for this yearâs parade. Celebrity Sightings at the 2026 Rose Parade
Hosting the parade this year are Hoda Kotb and Al Roker, and they will be joined by âTODAYâ co-anchor Craig Melvin.
Former NFL star Coy Wire was spotted at the event.
ââSinger, actor, and dancer Pressley is in attendance, joined by Emmy-winning sports anchor Darren M Haynes and comedian Loni Love.
The theme for this year is The Magic in Teamwork. “The theme celebrates the sense of accomplishment in knowing that by working together, we can collectively achieve outcomes so much richer than we can ever experience as individuals,â the official Rose Parade website reads.Â
Who Is Performing?
There will also be a mid-parade performance from âAmerican Idolâ star John Foster. This is something fans are really looking forward to, and when the news was shared on Instagram three days ago, fans flooded the post with their thoughts.

Other performers will include singers Kiesza and Aloe Blacc, Betty Who, and Debbie Gibson, as well as Timothy Wayne, Chapel Hart, and Brandon Bennett.
Bishop Briggs performed the opening performance in the rain.
Musician Charlie Worsham shared a video on Instagram of himself performing and doing a sound check at the 2026 Rose Parade.
