Kanye West’s wife Bianca Censori has finally spoken out about her daring clothing choices… well, sort of.
From the ‘invisible’ dress she wore at the Grammys to the infamous pillow fit, her outfits have become a point of controversy.
It’s alleged that Kanye, who now goes by Ye, is policing her to wear (or rather not wear) certain clothes as well as controlling her diet and exercise regimen.
We’ve never heard Bianca’s side of the story, as she never publicly speaks. Even in her new chat with Interview magazine.
Instead, another woman — dressed in a latex bodysuit and a Bianca mask — responds for the 30-year-old.
Despite the outfits designed with shock value in mind, she claimed attention was not her ‘goal’.
‘A woman in the public eye is forced to watch versions of herself multiply without her consent,’ the lady said for Bianca. ‘People project, people invent, people erase. So she sculpts the versions they create, the phantom selves.’
The interview came after her debut art performance in Seoul of her BIO POP project, which will see seven installations in as many years.
Her focus of the show was objectification, with female contortionists joining her on stage, wearing unnerving Bianca masks as they posed as furniture.
The architect is rarely seen out in public alone, with Ye almost always by her side, usually wearing the total opposite of her and being incredibly covered up.
Controversy began in 2023, when the couple were photographed in a compromising position while on a boat ride.
Not so covered up Ye had his bottom exposed while Bianca crouched in between his legs as he placed a hand on her head.
At the time, locals called for the pair to be arrested for public indecency as their trip around Europe continued with Bianca’s steadily wearing less and less.
Her outfits often go further than being a little risque, with one club outing seeing her don a flimsy piece of beige cloth, which was held together by nothing but a tiny string of fabric between her legs and two straps over her shoulders.
After she made her social media return after a month offline, she then posed in sheer tights and a fishnet top on Instagram.
Last month, while on a wholesome day out with her family in Melbourne, she was seen ‘pantless’ in a lilac and nude bodysuit and tights.
Bianca’s mouthpiece asserted that this was ‘not a confession of feeling trapped’.
‘This is an act of repossession,’ she said. ‘She is reclaiming the unauthorised clones. She’s not trapped in her image. She’s multiplying it until the original becomes myth.’
As for the comparisons to Ye’s ex-wife Kim Kardashian, the stoic architect is also unfazed as she’s not ’emotionally invested’ in social media.
‘She doesn’t seek praise or backlash, but she pays attention to how both form and circulate,’ the speaker said.
‘They’re two sides of the same perceptual mechanism, and the contrast between them is useful.’
