Celebs Go Dating returned with awkward scenes this week as a new star joined the Channel 4 reality show and went on an eventful blind date.

Celebrity Big Brother finalist Donna Preston was the latest celebrity to walk into the dating agency, sharing her relationship history with show experts Dr Tara Suwinyattichaiporn  and Paul C Brunson.

Once the introductions were out the way, the reality star, 39, started dishing on her sex life specifics.

But it turns out that her candid attitude to her bedroom antics might have hit a limit during her first blind date, as Donna said she ‘checked out’ when her suitor made a crude comment.

The Celebrity Big Brother finalist was blindsided and blindfolded on the date, which saw her and her fellow celebs don black scarves around their eyes so they could focus on the chat and avoid any superficial judgements.

In front of a blindfolded Donna sat hydraulics engineer Damien, and the conversation quickly turned to double entendres. Damien said in his line of work he was ‘quite good at giving things a good service’.

‘Absolute filth!’ Donna exclaimed in response.

She then continued in the confessional to the E4 cameras: ‘The blindfold is making it very odd. I don’t know if he’s being creepy or smarmy or complimentary, but I’ll try anything once so let’s give it a go.’

Donna then decided to quiz her date on his sex life and libido – only to again be on the back foot when he made a shocking comment.

Damien asked: ‘Take it you like the old tongue down there then?’ A horrified Donna asked the E4 cameras: ‘Did Damien just say front bum? No.’

On the date, she replied: ‘Sometimes it could be okay, sometimes it’s not okay.’

Damien wasn’t done with the crude remarks though, as even voiceover comic Rob Beckett was left joking he had ‘been sick four times’ over the scenes.

Speaking to the cameras, Donna said: ‘As soon as he’s just said that, I’m out, and because I’m out, I’m just going to see what his kinks are. Write in my book.’

The E4 reality series sees celebrities go on dates with regular members of the public to see if opposites do indeed attract.

Beginning in 2016, it’s become one of Channel 4’s most successful exports, having already broadcast more than 250 episodes on E4 in nine years.

Celebs Go Dating continues on E4.
