‘Bluey’ Counts Lots of Celebrity Parents Among Its Fans
“Bluey” was originally created by Emmy Award-winning Ludo Studio for the Australian Broadcasting Corporation and BBC Studios Kids & Family, but has become a global phenomenon. The animated series chronicles the life of a lovable, high-energy Blue Heller pup and her family.
Parents and grandparents love how the show focuses on life’s simple joys and subtly provides adults with strategies — and sympathy — for the daily challenges they face with little ones.
The show counts many celebrity parents among its fans, including HGTV star Erin Napier, who is raising two young daughters. In 2023, she told Entertainment Weekly, “âBlueyâ is life in our house right now. And probably once our kids outgrow it, weâll still watch it âcause itâs that good.”
In June, People reported that while Katy Perry was on tour in Australia, she brought her four-year-old daughter Daisy to meet a life-sized versions of Bluey and Bingo.
