Blushing JoJo Siwa looks shocked when bluntly asked about ‘boyfriend’ Chris Hughes

JoJo Siwa shared a fumbling response when bluntly asked on Lorraine if Chris Hughes was her boyfriend.

The Celebrity Big Brother star, 22, appeared on the ITV daytime chat show to promote her new music video, Bulletproof and shows in London this week in a chaotic chat with host Andi Peters.

JoJo and Love Island star Chris have been getting cosy since leaving the house with the pair seemingly hard-launching their relationship after being spotted kissing in Mexico, buying flowers and meeting the family.

Although neither has outright said they are now officially dating, Andi attempted to get to the bottom of it on Monday’s episode of Lorraine as he asked: ‘Your boyfriend….?’

JoJo was clearly taken aback at Andi’s straightforward question and immediately said: ‘No,’ as she laughed and proclaimed: ‘It’s so funny to me how straight up people get nowadays.

Andi attempted to backtrack adding: ‘Oh no that’s just me,’ and said: ‘your boy friend, friend who is a boy’ as JoJo continued to laugh.

‘We haven’t even said who you are speaking about yet but I think we can assume,’ she teased.

After Andi clarified it was Chris, he continued needling her relationship status by asking if she had had the Love Island treatment by being pulled into the kitchen and asked if they could go exclusive.

After laughing some more, she replied: ‘Christopher and I have had a lot of chats [but] we’ve never gone into the kitchen and said “my head’s not turning any way”. We’ve never had that portion of a chat.’

And when Andi joked that Chris is letting us down, JoJo was quick to defend him, concluding: ‘Chris is doing the furthest thing from letting us down, he couldn’t let me down if he tried

The saga repeated itself on This Morning when Chris Hughes was also zoomed in to chat about his surprise visit, the flowers and their relationship status, as bluntly put by Allison Hammond.

‘I hope people are as straight up asking him as they are me,’ JoJo said.

Then continued: ‘I would say he is up there with one of my favourite people in the entire world. He makes me happier than I think I’ve ever been. He makes me feel so full as me. He’s been a really good one that’s been the most incredible addition to my life.’

When she realised Chris had been listening int he whole time, she was taken aback, however and called her words ‘beautiful and absolutely stunning.’

As the interview wrapped up, JoJo laughed again at the chaotic nature of the chat, declaring that she ‘loves the UK’ while Andi thanked her for taking the conversation in her stride.

Earlier this week, she appeared on NBC TV where she hailed her CBB experience as ‘the best thing I have ever done’.

Then, when probed on being caught in the act with Chris, she laughed: ‘It was funny to see that on camera.’

On her way back to the UK, JoJo shared her journey on TikTok with Chris’ orange beanie pride of place on her head.

Having also shared the clip on TikTok – where JoJo boasts 45.9million followers – she echoed in the caption: ‘My heart is so full and smiling so big 🤍’

It didn’t take long for Chris to appear in the comments, writing sweetly: ‘Make sure you sleep on the flight’.

All in all, fans believes it’s been all but confirmed that the pair is dating – and that it’s inevitable they’ll go official sooner rather than later.

JoJo broke up with her partner Kath Ebbs at the wrap party for CBB after growing closer and closer with Chris over the nearly-three weeks they were on the show together.

Since then they have seemed almost inseparable, jetting out to see each other and spending time with one another’s friends and families.
