Brad Pitt appeared to be ageing backwards as he was spotted on the set of his new Formula One movie, unveiling a spunky new hairdo.

The 60-year-old is starring in a film about a veteran F1 driver who gets back in the front seat after some time away from the tracks.

The movie, rumored to be called Apex, is set to be released on June 25, 2025, and also stars Damson Idris, Kerry Condon and Javier Bardem.

Ahead of the British Grand Prix at Silverstone this weekend, the actor was seen looking like he could be joining Lewis Hamilton, Max Verstappen and co on the grid in new pictures.

The Fight Club legend smiled widely and waved at the cameras while rocking a black-and-white racing suit, embossed with countless logos, alongside a black gilet.

He donned a pair of black sunglasses for the day, revealing his shorter, spiked hairdo, as well as a string of bracelets.

The hairdo is giving us serious flashbacks to Brad’s head-turning look in 2008 flick, Burn After Reading.

The blockbuster will see the dad-of-six as Sonny Hayes, the former driver of fictional F1 team Apex APXGP – he retired from the sport after a major crash, but is asked to return to the track to train prodigy Joshua Pearce (Damson).

F1 bosses said in a statement: ‘The movie is a landmark for the sport and cinema, filmed in real-time during Grands Prix around the world and involving the Formula One community, including all 10 teams, the drivers, the FIA and race promoters.’

Top Gun: Maverick director Joseph Kosinski is helming the movie while British racing legend Lewis is serving as co-producer with Brad and Jerry Bruckheimer, as well as giving his expertise.

Production for the blockbuster began last year, and the dad-of-six has been spotted taking in the sights at various F1 events ever since.

Despite not being a professional driver himself, it has been claimed that Brad has been impressing everyone on the track with his skills so far.

Lifting the lid on filming, Jerry previously raved: ‘He does it all himself. He’s an amazing athlete, the drivers are amazed at how good he is.’
